Highly recommend Brockwell pups - best dog groomers around. The staff clearly take care to keep the dogs happy while they are being groomed, and Benji always gets a handsome haircut!
Do not take your wire hired breeds here, I booked in for a hand strip, but the groomer used clippers. This was my dog’s first cut and now his coat is ruined. There’s no excuse for it, I didn’t get what I paid for and now we have to live with the result of this groomers decision.
We put one star because we can't put zero, on my last visit my dog was left in terrible condition. The back was not fully cut the grooming was not what we asked for even after our previous indications, the front paw nails were cute but the back ones weren't, i specifically asked for my dog's fur not to be cut since she had no notts and when I picked her up she had bald spots and was cut more in some places than others VERY DISAPOINTED !
What a find! Super friendly and professional. Our 4 month old cavapoo was instantly relaxed and came out looking just gorgeous and perfectly groomed. Highly recomend and can't wait for our next appointment next month
We have been taking our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to Brockwell Pups for about 2 years now. The trims have always been a bit up and down with him always coming home with a different cut in spite of the same instructions- none off the top, trim of the ears/legs and cut the undercarriage. Sometimes they don’t take much off and other times they cut his ears and legs very very short. However, this time they cut the top of his hair in spite of saying not to, which for our dog we have never ever cut in order to maintain his long glossy hair (even something advised by them on the first visit!). When I went to pick him up and said that they shouldn’t have cut the top because we didn’t want that - firstly, they tried to tell me we’d asked for it, secondly, they then said ‘well we think he looks nice’ and then finally when I said I was unhappy because he never gets the cut we ask for when we come and that I wouldn’t come back she said ‘well I hope you don’t make mistakes in your job’. Then after getting home and looking at the coat properly, the cutting is very poorly done with jagged scissor lines all over his back, his ears are uneven and also has long strands that have been missed. Overall, I would count the ears as a mistake, the jagged scissors lines as poor workmanship and giving the wrong cut as not listening to your client’s requests (not a mistake). Worst of all I had to pay full price (£45) for a cut I didn’t want and don’t like at all.
