i’ve tried dog about town for grooming and it was worth it. they handled my dog kindly and the trim was exactly what i asked for. a nice local place for regular grooming.
It was Munchkin's first time at a groomers and she's a nervous rescue dog so I was a bit anxious about whether she'd cope. But they were so reassuring and kind that she was fine and came out looking confident & wonderful. Thanks to Stephen and team!

We had a wonderful experience with our 8 month Welsh Terrier pup this week. First time in the groomers and she loved it. She went in a ball of (matted) hair (and er a little whiffy) and came out perfectly hand-stripped and looking like a proper Welshie. Thanks guys. We loved the results xx
The owner and his assistant are super nice, efficient and always do great job. We have taken our dogs here for 5 years now - they go in looking scruffy and come out proper clean and beautiful.
This was my first time taking my Yorkshire Terrier puppy for a haircut, and we were both pretty nervous. But the people at Dog About Town did an amazing job of putting us both at our ease! When I went back to pick Maggie up she was having the time of her life - running around the shop, making friends with the other patrons, totally at her ease. And her haircut was great too - trimmed right back to a smooth coat, with nice sharp lines around her face, in a puppy cut.
