   It's been a while since our last visit to Hackney Barkers. I have a welsh corgi pembroke with beautiful fluffy pants. During our visit I asked only for a full grooming service with just a little hygiene trim. It was our second visit, the first time everything went well, so I didn't suspect anything. I got back a dog with almost completely trimmed pants, I was so frustrated, 'cause it's unprofessional to trim corgi's coat like that (at least until the owner ask you)! Corgi's coat grows back very badly and people who work in this area should know that! I was mad at that moment, but I didn’t say anything and decided just not to visit them anymore. I hoped that the coat will grow back and everything will be fine. Unfortunately, it has been more than 6 months now, my dog already had a shedding, and the coat still looks horrible. It has grown back, but it is uneven, with bald spots, it's just BAD. It will take up to 4 sheddings, before the coat is fully recovered. There is a chance it will never grow back properly as well. If you plan visiting Hackney Barkers I really encourage you to at least keep in mind that they might not know certain features about your dog's breed, and you definitely need to discuss all the details. Ps. Was contacted by the HB, reassuring me it wasn’t them. I just want to clarify, I didn’t want to offend anyone or anything like that, the rest of the service was well done. I don’t know the exact instruments you use (trimmers, clippers, whatever), but the fur on my dog’s pant was surely cut off by you. You ALSO cut the edge of her tail (she had a perfect thin tassel at the end of her tail, you cut it in perpendicular, like if using a trimmer).

   I recently moved to the area and visited Hackney Barkers yesterday - I was really impressed! The place is beautiful, welcoming and super clean, and they sell lovely products, too. They even offer ultrasonic teeth cleaning for your dog! Will definitely recommend this place to all my dog training clients.

   A huge thank you to very lovely team at Hackney Barkers who took so much care in grooming and looking after our long haired cat. The team were all so lovely and we felt very relaxed and extremely happy at the way the team took the time and care in looking after our wee fluff ball.
