   Poundland has always been a place to find bargains. The new app is exceptional and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I hope that this store is NOT on the list of closures recently announced. Pontypridd would be nothing without Poundland.

   Shocking shopping experience in shock-land: I was abused by a shopping assistant for refusing to buy the British flag carrier bag he placed in front my face. I simply wanted to buy a different one. My kind and honest behaviour is my personal flag... These boys should be trained and respect older people. He even dare tell me I could go, leave the shop if I was not happy and accused me, (more excuses to pick on me) of picking two baskets by accident (not a crime), and bothered me many times before I finished scanning my products and even laughed with another shopping assistant behind my back. I seriously hope his parents are going to try their best in order to correct his manners before its too late. Good luck to them. No flag of this world can justify antisocial behaviour. We are all people. Goodbye Poundland, I wont use you again

   As name suggest, affordable, good enough stuff, will highly recommend for cleaning supplies. Limited options in clothing but at that price quality is quite good. Grocery for daily needs but range isn’t wide enough, just go to Tesco opposite it for stuff you cant find here.

   Great shop but best to buy when the queue is not long. I used self service but I was expecting some change but it did not come through. I tired to ask the lady for help but she was acting like noboady was talking to her. They should have 2 people on the till rather than have opening more self service when busy as they go wrong like this then you don't always get help.

   Big store but not too many items. I got an extension card for £2.5 and a bunch of stationaries. I felt the place wasn't utilised well to stock up on many items. It's on the main street which is quite good.

   cheap and alright items, but I had the worst experience there recently. I went to a lady working there and asked how much these cakes where. She told me to go to the till so she could check. We went to the till and she scanned it, told me the price and held her hand out for the money. I said that I was just asking for a friend (as I was) so then she then put the cakes on the side. I thought she was giving them to me to put back / give to my friend so I picked them up and she said ‘no, leave them. Go get another box where you found them because you just wasted my time.’ I was so shocked that I just left the place. Rude staff, alright products.
