I’ve been going to Origins for years for piercings as well as jewellery purchases and fittings, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. The studio is clean and beautifully designed, Ian is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and the range of jewellery is fantastic.
I booked my appointment 4 days in advance for a Saturday morning. Turned up and the entire shop was locked up. I checked my emails to make sure I’d arrived on the correct day and I found an email in my spam folder from 3 hours earlier saying it’s been rescheduled to Wednesday. I work in the week which is why I booked far enough in advance to secure a weekend appointment. All I wanted was to purchase some jewellery, but the website said to book an appointment for this, so I did. It’s really disappointing and unprofessional that I’m expected to give 48 hours notice as per their cancellation policy, but I’m notified 3 hours before. I hadn’t checked my emails that morning, personally if I was cancelling an appointment I’d be calling my customers to ensure that they received the message. I didn’t and I ended up having a wasted journey. Very disappointed and won’t be booking a return appointment.
Got my ear lobes pierced for 3rd piercing on both sides and Ian did an excellent job. Talked me through the various aspects I asked about e.g. regarding the different earrings, material, etc., measured and placed the piercings coherently so the earrings flow on my ear and was perfectly patient and the experience was smooth, comfortable and virtually painless. He also has extensive knowledge regarding peircings which other body piercing shops don't necessarily fully explain to clients, I was fully informed and am more confident with the healing process for this piercing compared to any other place I've had piercings, highly recommend!
I've been going to Origins for a few years now for tattoos and piercings. Easily the best tattoo studio of been to over the years. Both Rio and Ian are very friendly people and always make me feel welcome and comfortable. Rio has managed to turn my very rough sketches (I have no art skills) into amazing pieces of art beyond my expectations. Ian has always made me feel very comfortable with piercings and has given great advice for after care. The shop it self is very clean and very relaxed. If you haven't booked an appointment with Rio or Ian I would highly recommend them. Thank you both and look forward to future visits.
I’ve gotten five piercings done here by Ian and always have the best experience, he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the piercings and jewellery as well as being absolutely lovely and great at keeping you calm. The jewellery on sale is absolutely beautiful too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for piercings!

Me and my friend had our navel and nipples pierced here today and could not have asked for a better experience. Ian was so friendly and informative and made us so so so comfortable. Would 10/10 recommend!!!!
My daughter has had 3 piercings done by Ian, has said she would not go anywhere else. Everything is clean and Ian explains everything that is being done and is so calm. Highly recommended.......
