Outstanding service and a very positive experience - My item arrived quickly and well packaged. There did happen to be an issue with the item I had purchased (unknown by seller at the time) when I contacted to notify them BCP was extremely fast in responding and resolving the issue for me. Issues do sometimes occur when buying used items but it's how the company deals with that issue that speaks volumes about how they conduct business and in this case, I'm thoroughly impressed. I have just purchased a Rolex Explorer II directly from Bath City Pawnbrokers using telephone and e-Mail as I couldn’t get to Bath. James and David were punctilious in describing the watch and providing high definition photographs. They negotiated most fairly and openly and packaged the watch most carefully for delivery. On receipt I found the watch to be even better than described. I am very pleased with the watch, the price and with the purchase experience. Gave me fair price on some “junk silver” jewellery I no longer needed. Far better prices than my local cash for gold equivalent so worth the trip. Traded it in against a 1oz coin of which there was a nice selection so I chose one I liked. Easy dealing, friendly, honest and fair. Pleasant exchange.
When I have had to use their services, they have always given me a fair price. And when I was late coming back to retrieve my goods, I was over the moon and relieved to find that they had kept hold of my stuff for about a week past the due date to see if I came back for it. I cannot praise this company highly enough. Having researched the market for a value for jewellery I wanted to sell, this company far exceeded any. I am not from the Bath area therefore I trusted them enough to send my items via Royal Mail secure post and they called me as soon as it arrived and transferred a BACS payment to me within minutes.
