   Broken boiler - no heating or hot water in freezing temperatures. Selvin was recommended to me. He was able to come the same day despite a busy schedule. Quickly identified the problem was a burst water pipe under floorboards. Selvin was friendly, efficient & work was reasonably priced. I’m so grateful he was able to fix the problem promptly to prevent further damage & costs. Thank you.

   Found MJ Services online and called Selvin this morning after discovering my unvented cylinder leaking into the tundish late last night. He came round straight away, diagnosed and explained the issue as well as what needed doing. He patiently answered my questions. He went to buy the parts needed and came back to fix the problem. Efficient, professional, experienced, helpful. So pleased that I found MJ Services and very happy to support a local business. We will definitely be using him again for other work and recommending to our friends and neighbours.

   Great service from start to finish! We had a gas leak and needed a replacement gas pipe to our cooker. Selvin came around the same evening to quote me and was around doing the work the same weekend. Very good quality work at a fair price - we will certainly be using him again for anything we may need. Edit - September 2025 just used Selvin again to drain down system & fit new valves on our radiators great service again and great price - very happy customer here I highly recommend MJ Services Ltd

   I live on a boat and finding a boat plumber cam be very difficult. I had been trying myself to fix my shower for days and had given up. I called selvin and he was able to come within a few days and had it done in an hour! He was friendly and professional. I felt the price was reasonable too. when I need to I will use them again.

   The guys fitted a new Vailliant boiler, new radiator valves and a new programmer last week for us. Arrived on time covered the carpet in dust sheets. They did an excellent job and removed all the rubbish and the old boiler taken away for recycling. They explained everything. The boiler is running perfectly. We can certainly recommend MJ plumbing and the price was also good too.
