   Very disappointing experience. We had a large leak that urgently needed fixing. I called Homefix based on their ratings on Checkatrade. Although very expensive (£2,000 for the day), the plumber was good. However our insurer said their invoices were not compliant as they did not break down their costs. We have been chasing for weeks but the plumber has ignored us and the customer service has been rude and unhelpful. They still have not sent us insurer friendly invoices. They get you to review them as soon as the work is done and while the employee is still there (hence the high ratings on checkatrade) but please check their invoices are insurer friendly before you pay them (we were forced to pay on the spot due to the urgency).

   My boiler was faulty and I randomly called this company to fix it, after noon an engineer came from first minutes he start making things very difficult to me. He just have a look and immediately told me the boiler is outdated and show me a small pump he said this cost you £604 and other thing £200, £400! He was pushing me to buy a new one even my boiler as I know is only 7 years old. They charged me £144 for a few minutes without even trying to fixed teporary. I know I'm not expert in boilers but I felt he was not honest with me, all he want to take that amount from me which is my one day salary and pushing me to buy a new boiler from them.

   Needed a plumber to replace an immersion heater. The work was carried out promptly and extremely thoroughly by Charlie who was very pleasant and efficient, even though the job proved rather more complicated than expected. Would recommend.

   ⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid Homefix Ltd — unprofessional and poor workmanship I had a very disappointing experience with Homefix Ltd. Despite giving simple, clear instructions (such as centering a radiator under a window), the work was not carried out properly. When it came to repairing my floorboards, instead of sourcing matching reclaimed boards to maintain the style of my home, their carpenter suggested using a cheap Wickes board — showing a clear lack of care or attention to detail. Due to these issues, I made it clear I did not want them back in my property. I had to hire a proper professional to correct their mistakes to an acceptable standard. Even after paying half of the quoted amount (£500 of £1,000) to reflect the unfinished and poor-quality work, they still pursued a small claim against me. I chose to pay it just to have no further dealings with this company. If you value quality, professionalism, and respect for your property, I strongly advise avoiding Homefix Ltd. I regret ever hiring them.

   Homefix has done all the work on my house, and there has been a lot to do including Carpentry, Roofing, Plumbing, Plastering, and Paint. All the tradespeople have been excellent. Work is of the highest quality. Having Mike and Micky overseeing things and also advising to help maintain my budget has been invaluable. All work done on time. The day I chose Homefix was one of the best decisions I have made. Strongly recommend them.

   Homefix is an outstanding company - deserves 6 stars ! Because they solved a leaking WC problem where other plumbers had failed. The leak was hidden behind a sealed cover panel causing the bathroom tiles to lift. The source was not obvious but they deduced where the leak had to be. Have already recommended the company to several friends for their expertise and excellent service.

   we are over joyed with the result with the conversion of our bathroom in to a shower room. Gary who did it was exstreamly careful of cutting of the tiles in order to match in with the patton. It was a tricky job but he surmounted all obstacles. every evening it was left clean and tidy.

   Just had the guys from Homefix around to do a variety of maintenance jobs on my house. This included replacing the mastic on all our rear windows, cleaning the fascia boards, replacing the extractor vents and replacing a roof tile. They turned up on time, were polite, worked hard all day, did a great job, and tidied up very well afterwards. Very pleased with the results. A big thank you to all at Homefix.
