Gavin was extremely knowledgeable and worked quickly and efficiently. GJL diagnosed the problem as best as they could over the phone to ensure they had the right tools for the actual appointment. The only downside is the cost being a tad bit high, but admittedly for a premium service in London, it is comparable to other services.
Gavin and the office team are great. ‘Booked in really easily and the standard of the work is high. Gavin is really clear about what and why the work needs doing, what’s necessary and what’s ‘nice to have’. ‘Appreciated!
Gavin from GJL has been to my place twice to investigate issues I've had relating to my boiler, gas pipes and gas pressure. Both times he was extremely efficient in finding the root cause and providing fixes saving me money and a potential issue with my gas supply. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Gary was on time and worked quickly and efficiently. He carried out boiler servicing on 3 boilers in our community Centre and then my boiler at home. The jobs were carried out without a fuss, he made comments and suggestions as necessary which allowed me to make an informed choice about additions. The gas safety certificates were issued there and then. He has a very pleasant disposition and nothing seems too much trouble. All done at a very reasonable price agreed up front.

Quick response to an emergency help request within an hour on a Saturday afternoon. Booking in was very helpful with idea of time frame and costs given which was accurate. Gavin very thorough and helpful in locating the initial leak and then another one we didn't know we had. Repairs carried out with spare valves he had in his van. Good advice given for further work required and job tidied up before he left. Highly recommended.
We have used Gavin's services several times over the years and we are happy to recommend him wholeheartedly. He arrives on time, is polite and friendly and carries out the work quickly, efficiently and leaves no mess. He has always sorted out any problem we have had with our central heating and is very responsive when we need to get in touch.
Absolutely amazing service. I've had a few hiccups with my kitchen taps where the water was not running or would only drip slightly and a small leakage with the toilet. Gavin came right over and fitted in new taps and fixed the leakage in a timely manner. Reasonable price as well. This is my second time using GJL and can honestly say this company is consistent. I would definitely recommend.
AVOID AVOID AVOID We were fairly happy with the installation of our new bathroom, it wasn’t perfect, cracking grout, unsealed bath and sink and endless staines left on all our carpets, then we had loud banging pipes. When Gavin came to investigate he wilfully damaged our property, making three holes in our home (you know where the shower is when you install it!) no apology or offer to put it right. He then cut our pipe without any thought of how it would be reconnected, we still have no working shower and the two plumbers we’ve shown this mess to were shocked at how a plumber could cause such damage. ‘Deliberate, reckless behaviour’, were words used, probably because he didn’t want to help with the pipe noise without payment. We still have banging pipes as well! When we have the shower pipes replaced next week and ceiling repaired, I’ll be billing Gavin and taking this through the small claims court no doubt, good use of my law degree!
