One of the worst service experiences I have ever had, finally settled out of court after months of atrocious workmanship and poor customer service. What should have been a straightforward kitchen job became a prolonged ordeal lasting months due to repeated poor workmanship. The same work had to be rectified on three separate occasions, including multiple full replacements of the countertop, because it was installed incorrectly each time. During these failed installations, damage was caused to my property, including a high-value hob which cracked and had to be replaced, damage to cabinetry and drawers, and additional remedial work being required simply to make the kitchen usable again. Even after multiple visits, the work was still not correctly finished, as the countertop did not properly fit the hob and required further adjustment. The disruption to my home and work life was extreme. I was left without water for several days, without cooking facilities on multiple occasions, and ultimately without a hob for nearly two weeks while waiting for replacement and installation. I was forced to take multiple days off work to accommodate repeat remedial visits, and spent countless hours chasing responses, writing emails, and attempting to speak to management. Customer service was appalling. Despite repeated requests and promises of call-backs, I waited over eight weeks for contact from management. Communication was terribly poor, inconsistent, and dismissive throughout, adding further stress to an already unacceptable situation. After months of disruption, damage, and ignored correspondence, the matter was only resolved once I was forced to issue a small claims court claim. The case was settled after legal action was taken — something that should never have been necessary. This experience caused significant stress, loss of time, and upheaval to my home. I would strongly advise anyone considering Pimlico Plumbers to think very carefully, as my experience demonstrates serious issues with workmanship, accountability, and customer care.

Pimlico Plumbers were fantastic from start to finish. I had a rat problem and they responded quickly, arriving promptly with a calm, professional approach, and had everything sorted within 24 hours. Both guys who came to the house were super friendly, very clean, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing, which made a stressful situation feel completely under control. Big shout-out to Steve and Nick for saving us from an unexpected rat family — genuinely lovely people who made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pimlico Plumbers to anyone.

Whenever we need anything done and we know we need it done quickly we always call Pimlico. This time we had a nightmare on a Sunday evening when part of our kitchen ceiling collapsed four days before moving out due to a faulty shower drain. Monday morning the plumber arrived, Tuesday the plasterer came and by Thursday evening after I'd painted everything was back to normal. Top class service and work.

I called Plumb London to arrange my yearly boiler service and was really impressed from start to finish. The service over the phone was prompt, polite, and very helpful, and the appointment was booked quickly. I also received both an email and SMS confirmation before the plumber arrived, which was really reassuring. Chris, the plumber, arrived exactly as planned and was highly professional, explaining everything clearly and pointing out any areas of concern. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Plumb London again. Highly recommended!

I am taking the time to write this review in recognition of the excellent service provided by Myles Crowley, an engineer from Pimlico Plumbers. He arrived exactly at the agreed time and promptly dealt with the issue, explaining clearly that he would return on Sunday between 8am–9pm to complete the job once the necessary materials had been ordered. Throughout the process, Myles was professional, polite, efficient, and tidy. He communicated clearly, explaining both the nature of the problem and its causes, demonstrating impressive knowledge of his field. Most importantly, he delivered on everything he said he would do, within the timeframe he promised. Myles was an outstanding representative of Pimlico Plumbers, and I am very pleased with the service I received. (Jennifer, London)

Chose Pimlico plumbers because we assumed the high price point would result in high quality work, but honestly we received pretty shoddy service. Spent £144 for the plumber to only turn our water off (something we already knew how to do), without performing any fixes or including any useful information on what might be wrong. Got another plumber in the next day who performed all necessary fixes in good time. Pimlico Plumbers’ business model appears to be contingent on scaring clients into booking multiple visits, thereby massively inflating overall costs. I really wouldn’t recommend this company.

I called them for a very simple job to fix the water leaks from the radiator's valve. The engineer who came around my place spent 10mins checking the radiator's valve and other unnecessary parts at first. Then he told me that he has to go shopping for the parts. And he returned to my place with empty hands and told me he needed to go to another shop. Obviously, he tried to extend as much time as possible to charge me more without doing anything. And he also told me that he needs to charge 25% markup for the shopping he does. Soon after he told me that, I told him to leave immediately and made complaints to the service team. However, the service team told me they still needed to charge me £125 plus VAT even though there was no service. What a rip-off company....... I will never call them again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE. We decided to use Pimlico because of good reviews and pay more (than average). Plumber hoovered our pipe for a bit, after went to a shop to buy a part he didn't have. Charged us £300 for an hour. Our sink was blocked the same day again and water was not going through. When we complained they said it is a problem with pipe inclination (we didn't have any issues for a year). They didn't repair our pipe until today. Rip off money, terrible service, avoid this company. Picture next day AFTER 'professional' left. They responded to my review in a way as if they are trying to help. In reality they didn't even respond to my complaint e-mail and tried to take down my review.

I have used Pimlico a few times and they used to be brilliant. I was happy to pay a bit more for reliable service. Not sure what’s happened now. We had to pay the full hourly fee in advance as a deposit. Fine. Then we got an email saying that the plumber couldn’t access our property despite having tried doorbells, emailed and phoned. However, the tenant was in throughout. So effectively it’s their plumber’s word vs our tenant. So they have believed the plumber and taken our money. The only concession they made was to give us 10% off for a second visit. I am not risking this again. The plumber says he remembers an open window upstairs - which to me seems to suggest someone was in….but what do I know. The customer is always wrong. Wasn’t massively keen on the way they communicated. Overall unimpressed.

Very poor professionalism. Not valuing customer loyalty. We have been using Pimlico group for drain and boiler issues for years ; as a loyal customer. On our return from holiday, our old boiler didn't want to restart and we called Pimlico in. We were advised our boiler would need replacement over the long term as it won't be cost effective to replace parts. But our household needed a functioning heating system until we can schedule a proper replacement (the time parts can be ordered and the job scheduled). So we agreed to the labour and part replacement. We were relieved until our boiler stops functioning the first time we used it, just an hour after the engineer left our property. We called Pimlico again to our rescue and our nightmare started: no call back was offered as a commercial gesture and their sole response was to book another visit the next day at £100+. We complained, as a loyal customer, Pimlico can at least schedule a callback free of charge to see if their engineer misdiagnosed the root cause of our problem (the boiler could not be repaired instead of being just not cost effective). Then as we were raising a complaint, Pimlico customer service stated the case was handed over to their complaint team and no appointment could be scheduled the next day to help our situation. We trusted an engineer to help our household so that we can schedule a replacement with Pimlico. As a result, we are short 600£, a broken boiler and no further appointment with a technician. What type of company deals with his loyal customers in such a manner?
