Truly superb work from Hoxton Shoe repairs, they fixed the unfixable and my wheels were like brand new. Cannot thank these guys enough!! Would go back every time!! Best cobblers in London
I bought the briefcase about 20 years ago and sent it to this shop for repair 10 years ago. That repair was excellent — a local shoemaker even commented on how delicate and well done the work was. When I sent the briefcase back recently the result was very disappointing. They fitted a rivet of a different colour and left an entire section unstitched. The postage was expensive as well. They offered a full refund when I called, but that didn’t resolve the problem — I had to take it to a local shop to have it properly fixed. Unfortunately the quality has declined significantly. I won’t come back again - they are no longer good, maybe an average.

I’ve actually been a regular here for over ten years and they’ve always had a fantastic job. I drop a pair of shoes off a month ago, I’ve phoned back four times, each different person answered and has said they have seen the shoes but don’t know of theyve been worked on. I’ve always been really understanding and nice about how busy they are. Yesterday they told me to phone back today, I do and the guy was just like ‘I don’t know come pick up the shoes were too busy’ - I push back and say, I’ve been really understanding and what I get for that is just whatever we dont care alrather than just try and help me?’ Apparently he doesn’t need this right now he’s too stressed so come get my shoes. I’ve been using this place for a decade, what a way to treat loyal, patient customers
I dropped off a pair of my wife's fancy Spanish shoes that needed a heel repair. She loves these shoes way more than she loves me...so this was a pressure job to get sorted! I just picked the shoes up this morning (only 2 days later!) They've done an absolutely magnificent repair job..at a very reasonable price. I'm so happy...but my wofe will be even happier when she gets home from work and sees them! Highly recommended!!!
Took my Vintage ACG Nike Air in to replace/fit a new sole as I haven’t wear them in years and the sole was disintegrating…They amazingly managed to find a perfect spot on fit Vibram sole and job looks amazing! Took them out for a spin these days and they feel brand new! Worth every penny paid for! Can’t thank you enough as not many places would do such a nicely done ✅ job nowadays! You gained yourselves a new loyal customer!

Took my much-loved and much-abused pair of red wings in, after 5 years of pretty heavy use, to get resoled with a more comfortable and durable sole, I was quoted £140 for a new outsole and midsole which seemed steep at the time (never been to a cobbler for shoe repair before). But boy am I glad I paid it! The service was top notch, taking just a week and they look absolutely fantastic. They also gave the upper a really good shine and polish but somehow still kept a lot of the character of the boots. Just goes to show, you get what you pay for; these guys seriously know their craft.
The reparation and soled craft of the landlord is the best that I have seen in London in the same price until now, he holds a delicate craft, and the price is around 50 pounds for each pair of shoes, is cost-efficient. You don't need care about spilling glue and unsmooth modified edge of shoes after soling. Originally, the feather loafer shoes had heavy damaged front, and I can’t believe that the landlods can repair the front as good as usual, and the craft is pretty delicate. Besides, the man’s repair speed is fast. My four pairs of shoes only used about one week and the quality is excellent. If you pursue fine workmanship and need sticker shoe sole, this store is worth recommending to you.
Let me tell a story. I was looking 10 years for Cole Haan Air Carson G series boots, which were discontinued a long time ago. Finally I managed to buy them second hand from USA, but they both were with damaged soles. The repair was done by Hoxton Shoe Repairs. These guys are magicians! I can’t say enough how happy I am with the final product- basically the boots are better than Cole Haan has produced them! Thank you so much, anyone honestly- do not hesitate to get in touch with them- they are magicians!!!!!!!!!!
