   Tony and team laid a new floor, installed radiators, new doors, lighting and decorating. They planned everything out with us, recommended alternative products, and gave a very clear breakdown in pricing. They are busy because they are very good but Tony always stays in touch and does the work when he says he will. All the team are really professional and the quality of work is excellent. Any snagging issues are quickly dealt with. Can’t recommend highly enough.

   Tony and his team completed a top to bottom kitchen refurb for us this spring. I can’t recommend them enough, Tony answered all of our countless questions with detail and honesty, guiding us with his expertise while also allowing us the space to see out our vision. We have never undertaken a project like this being new homeowners, so naturally we went into it with some apprehension. Tony took all of the stress out of it, project managing and taking care of the timings as well as all of the technical details. Tony even helped us make savings where possible so we ended up coming in a bit under budget. Thank you Tony, Jim and team for everything!

   We first used A.P.Ward Building Services in 2022 having seen the reviews on Which? Trusted Trader. They lived up to the reviews and did a fantastic job with our daughters flat complete refurb. More recently Tony and his team have done some flooring work for us, preparing the base and laying the new LVT flooring. On both the occasions the work has been to a very high standard, communication has been prompt whenever we contacted Tony and quotes have been clear, accurate and as expected. As well as being clean and tidy in their work they are reliable, honest, trustworthy and really nice guys as well.

   We have been using AP Ward since we moved into the area back in 2015. They are extremely skilled, personable and always willing to have a discussion to figure out what is best for us and the house. Being an old Victoria terraced there are always nuances to the work needing to be done. Tony, Jim, and the team are always willing to have an initial conversation with us to understand the work, educate us, provide quotes and ensure that we get the right outcome. Recently we had a complete kitchen renovation carried out by them which required all floorboards to be removed, structural work, multiple tradespeople working together to deliver our vision for the kitchen. They helped ensure a smooth process throughout and when we had unforeseen circumstances are quick and easy to work with to resolve. In the past we have used them for a wide range of jobs including decorating, plumbing, bathroom refit, general support, and a boiler replacement. They support across a wide range of work and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough in terms of the support throughout the jobs and the finish we were left with!

   A P Ward Building Services Ltd were the main contractors for the refurbishment of my late partner's 60s terraced house last year, prior to sale. They transformed what had been a wreck to a beautiful family home. Very high standards of workmanship coupled with years of experience, clear technical advice and exemplary quotations & invoices meant that I could project managed the refurb. from a distance with Tony supplying detailed photos/videos at all stages of the work together with relevant emails & texts. They are an outstanding firm and I fully recommend them to anyone who needs a truly reliable company for this kind of work. They have so many returning clients, which says it all! 5 stars, absolutely.

   Tony was professional and thorough in coming round to assess the work, following up quickly with an estimate and then arranging a time for the work to be undertaken. His team were also polite, quick (finished in a hour), personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use them again, especially as they’re local. No more squeaky floorboards or fear of injury. Job well done!

   I have used A P Ward a number of times over the last 5 years including redecorating of bedroom, modern loft access installation and re-roofing of house. The most recent job has been damp-proofing the kitchen (including some replastering) and redecoration of the kitchen. Both jobs have been done really well and AP Ward are a pleasure to interact with (both Tony Ward and the people doing the work). Simply put, they are my go-to builder when I need something done.

   I had some work done in my bathroom, new shower screen, new bath panel, sealant removed and replaced, new shower accessories. Karl and Kieron did a great job and I am delighted with the result. This is the first time I have used Tony and his team and have now asked Tony to do two other jobs for me. Communication is excellent and the final cost was as quoted.

   Excellent quality and service. We have used A P Ward on two recent occasions for work on our bathroom. The first was an insurance job to replace a leak-damaged floor and install a new cistern and tiles. We were very pleased with the friendly and efficient handling of the job by Tony and the high quality workmanship by his colleague Martin. We were impressed enough to commission some further work, re-sealing a shower tray and basin. Pricing was fair and open for both jobs. Promises on timescales were kept and everything was left clean and tidy. Definitely our go-to builder for future projects and I have no hesitation in recommending the company.
