   Romaine from Allen & Co Plumbing and Heating Services replaced our old boiler with a brand new Glow-Worm boiler. He was very efficient and delivered a very professional and high level plumbing service from start to finish. What I liked about Romaine he took the time to explain everything he was doing and how we should use our new boiler. Our job was spread over two days and Romaine cleaned up after himself each day in the area he worked. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If anyone is looking for a plumber who is not only highly skilled but also trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely customer-focused then Romaine is the plumber to call. I have recommend Romaine to family and friends. Thank you Romaine for a fantastic job.

   Romaine changed a radiator for me. Throughout the process his communication was excellent and he kept me informed at all times and explained precisely what he needed to do. The price was fair and very competitive. He worked hard and diligently on the day and completed the work to a very high standard paying considerable attention to detail. He was tidy and cleaned up after the work. Romaine is a great guy and I would have no hesitation in using him again- in fact I’m looking for jobs he can do! A real find.

   Romaine carried out a whole range of different works to my property, first fix plumbing for kitchen refurb, boiler upgrades, new radiators and shower. He also dealt with an undiagnosed gas leak and disconnected an old gas fire. There was a lot to get though! He’s very focussed and organised and communicates clearly at every stage about what needs to be done and why. I thought he took a real pride in his work and was very professional and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a solid and reliable plumber, a rarity these days! He’s been a great find, and I wouldn’t think about using any other plumber in the future.    I had a leaky bath which I had initially called 2 plumbers about and they were unable to locate the issue. Romaine came in and quickly identified the source of the leak and made the necessary repairs. His work was seamless and he worked in a very tidy manner. He also fixed a radiator leak which I was initially told would be a much bigger job but Romaine was able to do a simple workaround and have it looking good as new. His prices are very fair and he does a great job at explaining the issues and providing options. I will definitely recommend his services!

   Romaine has done a brilliant job, did a boiler service and fitted a plume diverter kit for us. Very friendly and transparent about the work required, he has gone the extra mile and fixed up the plume pipe cover seal which hasn't been done by whoever has fitted the boiler before.    Efficient friendly service and cost effective too. Jobs done: 1) old leaky kitchen sink tap changed 2) loosen a stuck stop cork Romaine was on-time and friendly. He was so helpful and even showed us the external water stop in case of an emergency + explained that we needed to reduce the water pressure as it was straining the old pipework. Would definitely recommend them and I would definitely use Allen & Co again

   My boiler broke down leaving us with no central heating or hot water. Romaine came down the same day to look at it, being very friendly and transparent about what our options were (repair or replace the very old boiler) and the costs involved with both options, giving us room to decide. We opted to replace the boiler and he did the job the next day, very swiftly and going the extra mile to get everything neat and tidy, including the cable setup with our smart thermostat. Highly recommended, one of the most professional tradesman I have dealt with.
