We visited this branch last weekend while waiting for a prescription, which took around half an hour. Our 15-month-old was briefly touching an item on a low shelf, and we were supervising her closely and making sure nothing was left out of place. A member of staff approached us and asked us, in a very abrupt manner, to take our child outside, saying it was “not a place to play” and that they would have to clean up after her. We were quite surprised by the tone and felt the situation could have been handled more politely. This is not the first time we’ve experienced unhelpful or unfriendly customer service from the same person when asking for assistance in the store. I plan to raise this with the store manager directly, as I believe feedback is important for improving customer experience.

Popped in as child woke up poorly but was told I couldn’t buy children’s medicine as the pharmacy was closed. The member of staff was rude as well. Ridiculous policy as I didn’t need to speak a pharmacist just needed medicine. Emerson’s Green Boots are useless if your child wakes up ill on a Sunday!

I was travelling between the West Country and Manchester with an overnight stop in Emerson Green. When discovered that I had left mine and my wife's asthma medication behind. The staff at boots chemist were knowledgeable helpful and most professional and sorted situation within 15mins A very big thank you from myself and my wife

I got to Boots at 0859 and despite being the 5th person in the pharmacy queue I still had to wait 20 minutes. During this time 10+ people joined the queue behind me. I needed to use the BMI machine but turns out it's broken - is it too much effort to put a sign up so I didn't have to waste that 20 minutes of my life? The pharmacy is such an unpleasant experience, really needs more staff and/or different management or something. I feel so bad for the staff that are here, they must be under such an enormous amount of pressure. Avoid this pharmacy!

The chemists in this store is a disgrace. They are understaffed and no one appears to care that people are waiting for ages to get to the counter. Then you are told the prescription is still waiting to be made up, even if it arrived there two weeks ago. So another wait until it's made up. Boots management you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pharmacy is rubbish, gave my husband half of his insulin prescription and said the rest wasn't ready - 3 weeks later they still haven't sorted it out, he's had to request another repeat from the GP as it's going to run out. Impossible to get through on the phone as well, doesn't get answered no matter what option is selected.

Pharmacy is a shambles and so badly managed. Enormous queues, inefficient customer management. A short term solution would be to look at the queue and work out how long it will take, then put a sign behind the last person to say they won’t serve anyone else after them, not just let it build and slam the proverbial door in their face after they’ve waited forever. Longer term, the pharmacist should do the drugs and advice, and leave the operations and management of the counter assistants to someone else who has experience and skill with retail customers, like a retail manager.

The pharmacy there isn't great. I was waiting in the queue patiently about 5.45, got to the desk eventually only for the staff to say they are closing the pharmacy (when the boots branch shuts at 7). I was the last customer in the queue and it would have literally taken 2 mins to serve me as all I needed was travel sickness pills for a coach journey the next day. The staff were quite dismissive. And given that I had waited patiently that was a bit unfair to not bother at all. Thankfully Sainsburys pharmacy saved me, I won't bother with this boots branch again.
