My partner and I visited this beautiful shop after getting engaged and the lovely Gus helped us pick out the perfect ring. He was so informed and not at all pushy, which made it such a relaxing experience. Highly recommend this wonderful family run business.

What a great jewelers, professional service for my Tag Heuer watch. It looks brand new, thank you.

I went to Schroders with a golden bracelet repair and an old watch that needed servicing plus getting some links out. I was very happy with the service I received. The jeweller was very informative and thorough, explained all options and costs to the point I was confident I was in good hands. Both items were ready for collection in the timescale agreed.

I went in wanting something to be ordered and the middle aged male employee was clearly autistic (as am I). He was so blunt, needed prompting throughout the whole conversation and there was no warmth, friendliness or chit chat. He looked uncomfortable as anything. You've gota learn this stuff mate or don't work in retail. He said they'd call when the item had arrived. They never called, of course. I wouldn't go in again.

Fantastic quick service. After a pin broke on a sentimental watch needed for an occasion 90mins later, I stopped here and explained the situation. New strap bar fitted and adjusted in 5mins. Thank You.

I've used Schroders on and off for the past 13 years, for buying gifts, frames, watch batteries, etc. I went in today, with a silver chain that wasn't even bought there, and they unknotted it for me in minutes. I highly recommend this lovely local family business. Customer service is second to none

I contacted this jeweller to see if they could offer a rather specialised service I've seen on a US website. Having heard good reviews from the Wallington community I have asked for my late cat's pawprint to be engraved onto a pendant. What I received exceeded my expectations by a country mile, I'm so chuffed. No job is too small but these guys can also deliver miracles. Thank you.

My late father took in a valuable family heirloom for quotation, and the shop lost it. For context: my father had inherited an original Rolex from my grandfather, but it required repair. So, he took it into Schroder a few years back for an enquiry. The cost of repair was money he didn’t have at the time, so Schroder said they’d be happy to hold onto it ‘whilst he made up his mind’. It was then forgotten about for a few years. Last summer, for my father’s last birthday, my brother and I followed-up Schroder having learnt the location of the watch. Whilst we recognised from the off that time had gone by and the difficulty that presented, we iterated how significant the sentimental value of the watch was to our family. We were willing to pay whatever the cost was of repair. The shopkeeper who served us in the first instance was rude, unsympathetic and unhelpful — he cited we couldn’t ‘do anything without an original receipt’ (which begs the question as to how things are stored/labelled). Despite this, he insisted he’d look into it and let us know within a week. When following-up a fortnight later, the owner said he hadn’t bothered to take our phone number so they couldn’t get in-touch with us. We were told to wait another week, and this time they’d get back to us. Now proactively chasing a third third via telephone, the owner couldn’t give us a definitive answer as to whether they had to watch or not (and if they didn’t, why that was). She then insisted she had to cease the conversation to ‘serve a customer’; her demeanour as a whole was very shady — she was bumbling her words and nervously laughing at the matter. Whilst we completely understand that we have to take liability for allowing time to go by, we’ve been left unbelievably frustrated by the lack of answers and unsympathetic attitude of the staff. With my father now passed, we’ve forsaken any hope of retrieving something that had profound meaning to all of us. (The monetary value of the watch makes us have our own theories as to its whereabouts). Avoid Schroder like the plague. Regardless of the complexities of our scenario, the entire ordeal illustrates how shady, heartless and frankly incompetent they are as a business — I sincerely hope there’s karma.

I've always liked this shop as a great place to buy gifts - the place is full of unusual and beautiful things. This weekend I'm also really grateful to the jeweller for fixing a broken wall clock that I almost gave up on. The clock is now perfect, ticking away happily and looking great on my wall.

Took my fossil watch here to have the mechanism repaired. Staff were very rude and didn't update me of delays. I recently needed the battery changed but I have been unable to get it done as the last people to work on it (schroders) have forced/jammed the back on. I've been to 2 watch repair shops and neither have been able to get it off. Do not go here.
