I had a fantastic experience with Maya Magal customizing a bespoke engagement ring for my fiancee. At the initial consultation, Amy, Lucy, and Megan were not only knowledgable about every step of the process, but kind and welcoming of a nervous boyfriend figuring it out by himself -- they patiently answered dozens of questions and never pressured me. Amy, the jeweler crafted the ring, did an absolutely amazing job -- the ring turned out beautifully, exactly how I imagined it, and her work is of the highest quality. The whole MM team was very transparent and professional, as well as accommodating with timelines and the process given I lived abroad. Most importantly, my fiancee is absolutely in love with the ring, and when I told her it was a bespoke MM piece (after she said yes, of course), she was even happier to learn that it came from an ethically-sourced and Islington local, independent woman-led business. We couldn't be happier with the choice to go with Maya Magal--I would give more stars if I could!
Couldn't recommend Maya Magal higher, we had a custom engagement ring made by the lovely Amy. My fiance wanted me to design the ring which was initially a bit daunting however Amy guided me through the whole process and made it a great experience. I also gave them a deadline to work to which they were very kind to accomodate and it was even finished a few days early. The ring is really beautiful and she said yes!! We also popped in after to get the ring resized slightly which Amy did within 24 hours which was very handy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an engagement ring or other jewellery!

Absolute gem of a place! I wanted a jeweller which uses ethically sourced materials and came across Maya Magal and luckily they had this store near me. I worked with Nathan to design an engagement ring for my fiancée, and the process was amazing from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful in steering me in the right direction and producing the most amazing design. The team proceeded to do an unbelievable job making the ring, which we are both incredibly happy with. Beautiful people, beautiful pieces, could not have asked for a better service!
We live in North London and I love this shop, so my now husband reached out to them for a bespoke engagement ring - we cannot recommend them enough! Nathan was absolutely brilliant start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and years later they sorted re-sizing and engraving my rings for free after my ring size changed post baby. Even though I wanted a fairly classic style which we could have bought from a range of jewellers, I’m so glad it was custom made locally at a women owned business. To celebrate the birth of our child, I wanted a special piece of jewellery I could wear and one day pass on. I had an idea in mind for a necklace, so sent a sketch to Nathan assuming it wouldn’t be possible only to get a warm note back that they’d be delighted to help. The experience was fantastic and so special, they went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. The end result is gorgeous and so thoughtfully designed (a thicker chain to make it more durable with a baby who loves pulling on things, and an adjustable system in the back to change the length). Whether it’s an engagement ring or bespoke piece of special jewellery, we can’t recommend this wonderful store enough.
I live in Islington and walked by the store countless times, admiring the beautiful designs in the window. My (now) husband and I are living here for a few years before returning to the US permanently, so when the time came to purchase my wedding band, we really wanted something from our neighborhood here in London to make the piece extra special. I knew Maya Magal was the place. Working with Nathan couldn’t have been better. We were on a tight timeline, and he was quick with his design and thorough in his communication. I showed him pictures of what I had in mind, and he tweaked it to best suit my engagement ring. When I saw the finished product, I was ecstatic! It was better than I imagined. I constantly receive compliments on my band from strangers - not a usual occurrence to have people compliment your band more than your engagement ring, but it is really that special! Highly recommend!

I adore their unique pieces and always experience the best customer service from the friendly team. When he eventually bought my engagement ring, it made sense that it was MM. True to form, they resized quickly and with great communication throughout the process. We’ll be back for our wedding rings!
Had such a great experience working with Nathan at MM to design a wedding band to fit around my engagement ring! The finished product (plus my partners wedding band) is amazing and the team were so helpful and easy to communicate with when it came to resizing one of the bands.
