I brought my wife here as she liked a watch on display, we thought to try it on. For some reason we attracted a very disinterested sales associate when you walk in the door. The watch was a few hundred pounds, after a while she tried it on and looked at it we decided to buy it. I noticed however an older couple which I overheard buying a much cheaper item (a necklace). The pair were sat down, seemed to be allowed to try on lots of different options and overall given better treatment. I seemed to get the impression that because we were a young couple that we were seen as perhaps not serious buyers. Without even sitting down we paid for the watch, the lady was almost going to give us the watch without anything else, we asked for a box and was given a generic Ernest Jones box and effectively sent on our way. In hindsight I should just given the watch back.

The worst experience I could have in my life... the manager is a toxic person, who instead of helping you starts yelling at you. She is totally lacking in respect and common sense. I was trying to ask her questions about the order I placed, because I wasn't satisfied with the product, but she didn't even let me finish my thought and kept talking over me... How can a person become a manager with such attitude? Unfortunately, this is the first and precisely the last time I order something from Ernest Jones. You have to be more careful when hiring people in customer service, they make the buying experience disgusting, and you lose potential customers

One of my worst experience in terms of shopping and customer service. Given a female item istead of what l chose for my boyfriend.. Guess the surprise when is time to open Xmas presents.. At the store l was literally surrounded like l was the guilty one by some kind of supervisor or if you want to call like that. I left the shop almost in tears as l was kind of arrassed even when l asked for a copy of my receipt. Same story with the gm that didn't carry any kind of action towards these people. No empathy, no simpathy, just people standing around and not careful about their customers. Definetly never come back anymore, even from far, total unprofessional staff

DO NOT BUY NOTHING HERE. My boyfriend proposed me less that a month ago with one of theirs rings. Quite expensive. On top of that he had to pay for a guaranty which included any damaged. I didn’t wear the ring while cooking, showering, sleeping or doing any other chores. In less then a month the ring is very scratched. Today I went to ask if there is something they can do about it, and the lady( sale assistant or manager) told me that is normal to be scratched. She was talking with me with a very superior attitude and told me that the warranty doesn’t cover if I wore it( mind blowing) and that I should know if I wear something is going to get scratched. Their jewelry not quality but the service is horrendous. Made my feel horrible just for asking a simple question.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service in this shop. Bought a ring and told the resizing was free. The ring came out smaller in the first place but I had no rush to resize it as I Was not made aware it had to be within 30 days. Why would have I waited otherwise? I came back to the shop to be told very rudely by the sale assistant that there was no way they had not told me about the 30 days and I had to pay for it. Extremely disappointed. Jewellery are expected to bring you joy and your shop absolutely fail it.

DONT GO HERE, INCOMPETENT STAFF, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Second time putting a chain in for repair in a year, the first time we wasn’t contacted when it arrived and was told an email was sent and we were called going by their ‘notes’ when we did receive the chain it felt like a completely different chain, very thin and weak we were told it was because it was polished. The chain broke again (no surprise as it felt like a primark chain at this point) and when we handed it in we were told it would be under the warranty as it had been a year, it has now been two months since handing in the chain for repair we called last week and was told it would be arriving in a week we called again this week and was told by the manager that was not the case and they had contacted us in august going by their ‘notes’ as they had to confirm the colour of the chain and that we would need to pay as the warranty doesn’t cover the damage (Fake warranty clearly) It is now going to be another month for our repair. The manager pushed the blame on ourselves and said we didn’t give an email (which we did as we had an issue with the first repair and asked them to make sure they had phone and email to contact us) she then blames ‘new members of staff’ not being trained which in customer service is the biggest lie. When we asked about the complaints procedure she told us we have a customer service line but it will come back to her so there’s nothing she can do in terms of our complaint.

AVOID Ernes Jones Startford Westfield. We been many different Ernest Jones branches, but Stratford Westfield one is the worst. 1. We purchased a watch with under pressure by staff member saying ( you can buy it now and return in 30 days, if you don't like it) My parent and I was trying few different watches but we can't decide which one to get, and we asking questions about the differences of the watches, therefor we spent a little more time in store. Then the (assistant manager ANGUS) came across aggressively pointing her watch to the SA who was servicing us, then roll her eye at me and left. this is completely wrong and rude attitude. Then soon after the SA said ( you can buy it now and return in 30 days if you don't like it) so we purchases the watch because we feeling uncomfortable in the store. And next day we bring the watch back to Oxford street branches, as we don't want to return to Stratford with that rude services. 2. after that experiences, I thought I give it a try again, and we visit the store to try a Gucci bracelet. The SA is poor knowledge about the item and very unprofessional, what ever we said her only respond is yeah yeah yeah yeah! So I tried the bracelet on, I said I will take it and I ask if I can shorten it? is the hook are adjustable? Then she trying to snap the ring and open it with her nails, I have to tell her to stop as I don't want to damage it. I was shock. then I ask for a new one and she said this is the last one. I said are you guys able to get a new one and shorten it? then she pass to the manager and manager respond is ( this is the last one and if you want to shorten it will charge £40 ) So, I left. then I check online, the bracelet actually available in Gucci store even provide 6 different length size options with same price! So the worse thing is, the one I tried in Ernest Jones, that bracelet at the end of chain is missing a Gucci logo tag, instead of just a ring hook with the lady trying to snap it with nails. which mean is they are selling defect item or damage item without informing customer, or the staff don't even know them self, it could be stolen, or return item. But I will not buy the item if the staff was trying to adjust it by nails and pieces missing. They should provide me a correct information or advise me order online as there is sizes available. Images below is from Gucci store, there is clear shown at the end of the chain has a Gucci tag, but Ernest Jones one only a ring hook. Will not return Ernest Jones Stratford anymore, terrible.

Surprised to see such a nice outlet having less than a 4 in the ratings. As a watch enthusiast, I had visited this place twice and clearly mentioned them that I casually visited to browse. The entire team was more than happy to welcome me and allow me to try various watches. They have good knowledge about their collection and are very friendly. Wish that I'd be a customer for this outlet one day.
