World class company and staff. I have visited a few times and received very sound advice when thinking about a luxury item. I feel the company is integral and speak with honestly. Executed a few good deals via their networks. Good stuff all round !
First time at Love Gelato and really wowed with the variety. We ordered ice-cream for the kids and sausage rolls for the adults. Would definitely recommend.
Really, really poor. I've attempted ordering using Deliveroo twice now. The first was cancelled with no reason. The second - the driver drove past our house really fast without stopping, so Deliveroo re-ordered for me. Then I got a call saying the rider arrived at the restaurant and they had closed well before their stated closing time. Bad. I'd like to be able to support local independent businesses but I won't be ordering from here again.
I went here when it newly opened and it was so lovely. I got a Nutella crepe with strawberries after a bad day and it made me feel so much better. I've also just had some gelato delivered via deliveroo and I'm SO GLAD they have joined delivery services for the second lockdown. My mum is a huge fan of them and we'd much rather pay money to this lovely little independent shop than a chain like creams. I hope they can add some more hot chocolates too, seeing as they have such great ingredients I could see them making hot choc with choc bars and such. Keep it up guys, you're smashing it ♥
Wow fantastic place! The ice cream and coffee is amazing! Can not recommend it enough. Staff are so lovely. Will definitely be going back very soon!
Prices are reasonable. Coffee is not great at the moment, I think because the staff are very inexperienced. Hopefully this will improve. The Gelato is nice. Reason for the low star rating is that there is little to no COVID-19 measures where it matters. The cones are really tasty but on the counter with everyone breathing all over them. Some customers came in with no masks on but nothing was said. Also there are no screens up for the staff, some are not wearing masks all the time also. The seating inside could not be any closer together literally back to back and anyone for take out stands almost on top of you. At one point there were 12 people in a tiny tiny space. There is hand gel but no attempt at track and trace or prompt to use if it is available. So all in all I would give it a big miss at the moment until things improve. It is nice having a new independent in Locksbottom but they need to up their game and enforce COVID measures to keep us all safe.
