   PUBLIC WARNING! DODGY JEWLLER WITH THREATENING BEHAVIOUR! Took my £350 silver bracelet to be repaired, handed it to the owner of the shop. At first he seemed okay, told me he would have to send it off to find out how much the repair would cost. My bracelet only needed 3 new pins and a little soldering. He told me he would phone me with the quote,he phoned me back he said it would cost £60 it would take 7/14 days to receive it back. I got a call 3 days later and it had been repaired(apparently). When i got there I really couldn't believe my eyes. He caused more damage than it went in there for. Gary claimed he couldn't see the problem or any links that were bent and damaged (Ray Charles could've seen the damaged!) See photos. It seemed like he was trying to antagonise me considerably. He was very rude and threatening. After a brief argument he said don't worry about the money keep the bracelet! Alarm bells are ringing! Then he informs me it was repaired in the back of the shop? He's lies have no bounds. I have now taken my bracelet to a real silversmith and have been told that Nicholas James has caused more damage than anything else. The repair that was supposed to have been done would have cost me a maximum of £80 at the silversmith and that would've included 6 pins being replaced, but after Nicholas james got their hands on it, it will now be £180 to repair the damage, effectively turning my £350 bracelet into scrap. My advice to anyone looking to use this jeweller, is stay far far away. We have been speaking to a few people in the area that actually know this man and apparently he is a right wrongen Do not trust this jeweller..... A little advice about taking any jewellery for repair. Make a video of the the damage you want repaired. When taking it into the shop show them and then take some photos of it while in the shop and make sure they weigh it and put done the correct weight. If I had done this I could've reported him to the ombudsman, but because I didn't, i don't have a leg to stand on. Karma has a way of dealing with people like this. You have been warned!

   Took my wife’s Gold Bracelet in to be repaired, young chap behind the counter Gary was very helpful. Informed me the item would take 7-10days. But he had it back to me in under a week. My wife is over the moon as item looks like new, just as they said it would. Thank you

   Love this shop and Tom the owner who is a very knowledgable man and good to do a deal with BUT this is the second time that I have gone in the shop to buy gold and have encountered the two horrible, ignorant sales women. Both need a lesson on customer services. Absolutely appalling piggish attitude - - They didn't even make eye contact ......sort your staff out Tom, they are losing you business!
