   My dad had to have his wedding ring cut off for an operation. Upminster jewellery workshop did a great job in fixing and repairing a very beat-up and thinning wedding signet ring, which is 60 years old and means a lot to my dad. They did a great job, it looks like new, and the cost was very reasonable. We would go there again. Great workmanship, which is hard to find nowadays. From a daughter of a very happy and pleased customer.

   I really don’t like writing bad reviews especially for small businesses but I feel I need to warn other people against using Martin unless you know what you’re dealing with. His shop has a long winded sign on the window with complicated opening hours and ‘production only’ days listed. It says he has a big backlog and he’s trying to clear it. I popped in one day and he happened to be there. I asked if he could fix my antique diamond ring that was my grandmothers as I wear it every day and want to strengthen it. He said it would take 6 weeks and would be £250ish. I said fine. 8 weeks later I try to get hold of him . No answer on phone - voicemail says it’s full. He’s not in the shop when I walk past. Google and find an email , mobile phone, Facebook, Instagram details. Message all of these but bay no response. After 11 weeks I go back . The lovely man John that rents space in the workshop is there and goes into the safe to find me my ring. It’s not even been touched yet. Seriously Martin what are you doing - sort your business out.

   Worst service ever...one month to change three ⌚️ batteries and to repair an broken gold chain. They destroyed one watch because they couldn't put the watch cover back.
