I have found the Basildon Branch to go beyond the normal customer service and would feel confident to recommend them to anyone.
Spent over £2500 on diamond rings and earrings stones fell out then they wanted £250 to put the diamonds back in wife got a quotef £80 with a dip and shine and 12 months guarantee the moral of the story is sometimes go to a smaller independent jeweller thank you Ernest Jones for ripping herself
Got engaged xmas day 2018, bought bridal diamond set from here. Spent over £1400, 2 diamonds fell out of the band quoted me £250 approx to repair not happy as rings looked after and cared for. Was not expecting this after such short time to be honest. Always buy from here and now not so sure anymore. Dissappointed. Collecting ring today going elsewhere for repair and clean.
We went here last minute on a Friday evening about 30 mins before closing. We were looked after by the 2 members of staff who were in the shop (a lady and a man) they didn't rush us, showed my husband what he had gone to look at and the gentleman was knowledgeable and helpful. My husband left happy with a purchase.
After having such a terrible experience at Ernest Jones Chelmsford branch we were so glad that we popped into Basildon branch. A purchase of a very important item of jewellery - an engagement ring - for a very important personal occasion - my future wedding - was conducted with such professionalism and expertise initially by store manager Rebecca. Thereafter, all promises were kept regarding deliveries, phone calls, text messages and paperwork, by Sam and the rest of the team.
