Really sad to say our dog had a groom with Doggy Ventures, he has been shaved to the skin and is covered in cuts. For the last few days since the groom he’s been really anxious and cold! Really hard to find a good local groomer but unfortunately won’t be going back.
We’ve been having our Romanian rescue groomed by Doggy Ventures for some time now, and they always do a super job. Catherine really puts the needs of the dog first - he was initially very nervous but now gets so excited to see her! She’s also pays attention to what we need, is totally reliable and excellent value. I don’t hesitate to recommend her!
Catherine has been amazing with our crazy spaniel, who’s been going to daycare with her now for almost a year. We didn’t want to send her to a kennel environment as we knew she would be too stressed, so Doggy Ventures is perfect as it’s a real home from home! Our dog comes home happy and sleepy from playing with her friends. Catherine is so patient with her and really takes the time to get to know every dog and their personalities, which is a huge bonus to us. We love getting pictures of what the dogs are up to and always feel comfortable leaving our pup for the day (especially as she runs through the gate and doesn’t look back!). Doggy ventures grooming is also fabulous, with a lovely salon for the dogs. We definitely recommend Catherine and Suzi, their care and love for dogs is obvious to see which is so reassuring.

Our dog suffers from severe separation anxiety which is why our vet suggested a day care. Catherine has been so kind and patient to our dog that if we mention Catherine’s name to her when we’re at home, the dog gets more excited then if we show her her lead! Catherine’s prices are very reasonable and she has always been very open with constant communication. Catherine and her team really make me feel as though our dog is very safe and highly cared for. We’d also highly recommend the grooming service; we’ve had so many compliments on our dogs cut, even from a crufts judge who we met on a walk! Every morning we arrive, our dog runs straight to Catherine’s front door and when it’s time to go home at the end of the day, our dog is just doesn’t want to leave!! Our dog has been cared for at Catherine’s one or two days a week since she was 3 months old (she just turned one). Catherine clearly has a lovely relationship with her and our dog absolutely loves it there, playing with the other dogs. Sometimes she doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Catherine is obviously very experienced with handling dog dynamics and she is helpful and accommodating if we need her at short notice. Highly recommend.
Catherine has looked after my dog for nearly a year. He first went when he was a small puppy and after meeting Catherine I felt completely happy leaving him with such a caring and dog loving person. Catherine has always gone above and beyond making sure my boy is happy, healthy and has huge amounts of fun. He rushes in to see Catherine in the morning and after a long day at work when I go and pick him up he is completely content and would quite like to stay! That is how I know he is cared for and loved whilst I am at work. I couldn’t recommend her more highly .
Catherine has been looking after Rolo since he was a puppy, and I couldn't recommend her service highly enough. My dog absolutely adores her and literally can't wait to get through her door in the morning. She is natural animal lover - very caring and has their safety and welfare concerned at all times. She is incredibly professional compared to many other dog walkers I have come across. She has all of the relevant insurances and indemnities and also seeks permission on whether your dog can have treats, be let off the lead etc.. She also has a settling in period to make sure your dog fits in with the pack and is very honest about how well they integrate. I think this is great as I've heard so many stories of dog's being picked on by older/ bigger dogs, so Catherine makes sure this doesn't happen. Your dog will be safe and very happy in Catherine's care.
Catherine has been looking after my dog for nearly 2 years and I have to say he loves visiting her. He will guide me all the way to Catherine's house and can't wait for her to open the door in the morning. He is a very picky dog so this is definitely a vote of confidence for Catherine. He comes home content and tired which tells me he has been well looked after and stimulated all day. Catherine pays attention to individual dogs needs if asked and when my dog had a problem with his dew claw she was happy to keep an eye on him. She ensured his dressing did not get dirty and kept a constant eye on him and even tailored his walks so he wasn't in any pain. She is always happy to provide text updates if owners are worried. Excellent service. As for booking, Catherine will always accommodate my needs as my partner does shift work and the days we use her services tend to change on a weekly basis. In 2 years there hasn't been a time she has said no to me. Catherine is our fourth dog sitter and we hope she will continue to look after and nurture our dog. Her professionalism is excellent and being shown insurance certificates, etc, really does put your mind at rest. No other dog sitting service I have used has been so thorough. Catherine is so dedicated to animal care that last year she asked me if I had a preference of animal charity to make a donation to. She was donating a percentage of her income to this charity. I was so pleased to hear this as it shows her dedication to her business and her love for animals. I'm just so happy we found her!
