kay is easy to contact, and get a doggie date for the best ever dog-grooming session! kay has a very kind, gentle, competent manner with my little dog, putting her at ease straightaway. each time, she checks what i want, and takes as much time as necessary to do exactly what i choose. my girl is a very heavily-coated pekingese, who was previously owned by a dog-groomer. when i adopted her, she wouldn't even tolerate brushing at first, and would become very nervous - i think she there had been too much attention to her coat! the first dog-groomer i took her to kept her for 3 hours, ruined her coat, and left her nervous and anxious for at least 24 hours afterwards. pollyanna has no fear of kay, who treats her beautifully. i am able to stay, and we chat while kay works, checking my satisfaction from time to time - she recognises that i am a bit of a control freak but that is no problem to her! i have been delighted each time i have visited kay 9 dog-grooming for coat and claws and i fully recommend her.

My cockapoo had a very matted thick coat. Kay asked me lots of questions about my dog and the look I wanted and that she would ring me halfway through to tell me progress (This is something no ever groomer has offered)I'm pleased she did as she said she was pretty bad and that all her curls would go and she would be sleek and face framed as long as that was OK, we agreed that it was best for my dog. Well when I picked her up was very pleased as was expecting a patchy dog which is what has happened before by another groomer, but not this time she still had a coat and no bald bits plus nails done very happy will use again and diffinatly recommend.
