I’ve had multiple sessions cancelled at the last minute with no real explanation or apology. Refunds take ages to come through - long enough to leave you out of pocket or even in arrears - and communication is poor. I had to chase just to find out why things were cancelled in the first place. If you’re after an stress-free swim experience, this isn’t it. If you can make the trip, go to Shepperton instead - the team there are far more welcoming and their customer service is miles better.

Who would have thought there was great open water swimming in London? It’s a tad expensive but well organised and safe with a friendly vibe and a 1km course around the buoys. Pre booking and tow floats are mandatory.

This is one of my favourite spots in London and it IS my favourite spot to swim in the city. It's clean and safe, and the staff are extremely friendly and kind. I've swam here in all weathers over the years, and it's always magical rain or shine. There's some really great events on too! Halloween is one I try not to miss. Overall I think it's a great thing to have in a stunning setting. I hope it continues to be as great as it is currently. I think it's in a golden era right now with the staff it has and the community it encourages.

Have loved swimming here for years now. The staff here are friendly and helpful. You can swim as little or as much as you’d like. It’s great to see novice swimmers here now swimming amongst more serious swimmers. There are minimal facilities around - most people get checked out in the open. There are some cafes around for a a warm drink after. There are some big events here too if you are serious about swimming or you want to set yourself a challenge.

HIGHLY recommend this spot to swim. It's tucked away in a picturesque location, with a lovely dock with changing rooms and places to store your belongings. There are three loops of different lengths to choose from - perfect for those who are training to complete a specific distance. The staff are really friendly and helpful - they host different events to help test your skill and have 121 coaching on offer as well. Bright coloured caps and tow floats are required - they do have a supply of some as well. Lovely dining spots nearby for those wanting to make an occasion out of it - including outdoor bars on the water during the summer.

I love this spot. On top of your head you have the cables cars and down you have the ducks in the water busy building masterpieces nest using recycle materials, all the plastic the can collect from the river. They all look like super experienced Bob the builders in action. From another angle, in front of you can admire giants printing pictures inspired by the surrounding nature. You can just seat there and look at that view without getting tired The sky is open and big and you can also hear a roar of a landing plane to the next City London airport. In the end let's not forget the ex museum , a building that now is the Mayor's office that shine in all its splendour with its irregular shape. A suggestive scenario from left to right and viceversa,

Convenient location to hop on to the cable car to O2 arena at North Greenwich. The cable car station which used to called Emirates is now called IPS Cloud. It is a few minutes walk from Royal Victoria DLR station. Nearby restaurants and cafes. Open water swimming is possible near the cable car station only.

It's a terrific scenic view from dock foot bridge to love open water Royal docks. We can Witness the take off and landing of flights across the run way from London local Airport. The river is very quiet at all times surprisingly its Grey ever and not dusty color. Highly photogenic and camroll view.

This is nice and niche place for water skiing. River facing restaurants gives you a time to explore the inner you. While some plays on the water and makes me wandering how do they do it in this cold. It's a Good place to visit.
