Outstanding professionalism and service from Lewis! From the first time Lewis visited to discuss replacing old boiler system I was immediately at ease, his pragmatic suggestions and knowledge of how to achieve what I wanted were spot on. Lewis truly takes the time to design the right system for you rather than just the easiest one to install, his pipework is a thing of beauty! I have since have various trades in the house and everyone has commented on how impressive the entire system is. Our ancient hot water tank and boiler are out, replaced with a Vaillant Eco-Tec boiler, new pipework throughout and an unvented hot water cylinder controlled by a new Hive thermostat. We have gone from a dribble of hot water in the shower and rattling pipes to high pressure water throughout the house and total silence when the system is running, it’s amazing not to be woken up by the heating and hot water pipes banging and clanking at 6am. An unexpected bonus is that the new system is using considerably less gas to perform the same function. The job was completed on time, at the quoted price, disruption was kept to an absolute minimum and the work areas always left neat and tidy. You couldn’t ask for more. Lewis is also a throughly nice person and a pleasure to work with, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fletcher Plumbing and Heating!

Well let me first start by stating that Fletcher Plumbing & Heating was not the cheapest of the 4 quotes that we had to replace our old leaking oil fired steel boiler. Being an ex heating engineer with many years experience what impressed me was his knowledge and attitude. Very proficient guy I thought who will take time out to explain things to you. Our old ‘inefficient’ oil boiler was discontinued many years ago we were told. That boiler used to get VERY hot. The new ‘condensing’ oil boiler is not on a par in my opinion, but hey that’s progress. Lewis, the main man, was a very tidy worker, as was his sidekick young Dan who was equally so. They appeared to have box’s of tools & materials for everything. They took a couple of days to finish the work and then removed all outstanding mess etc., incl the old very heavy Worcester steel boiler. It felt quite strange having someone to do the job that I myself had previously been doing for many years. Final installation is very neat despite my quite blatant observations, ( I don’t think it was interference !!) which did not put them off when they were here. Should mention that there was a minor problem with the new boiler which Lewis sorted out. He arranged, collected and installed a new thermostat without fuss or bother. Yes we made the right choice by asking Fletcher Plumbing & Heating to undertake our repair work and I for one would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Company to others.
