   On time. Everything explained. All clean and tidy upon completion. I would use this firm again. I had a boiler breakdown in December 2025. Westex were at my house within an hour of my call and the boiler was running normally half an hour after that. Fantastic service especially as it was the busiest month of the year. I have no hesitation in recommending Westex. Heating Ltd.

   I commissioned Westex Heating to replace my central heating boiler with a like for like open vent Viessman model in October 2020. Along with this I had them replace my indirect cylinder with a direct cylinder (Viessman) to give me mains hot water pressure throughout. Hitherto I had to pressure the hot water with pumps which were unreliable and prone to leakages not to mention the noise created - there is no such thing as a 'quiet' pump. The new boiler replaced a Vaillant and although happy with the former the Viessman really is a well engineered boiler and justifies the 'Which' consumer association 'Best boiler' award for the last three years running. However there was an issue with some water hammer after the direct cylinder had been installed which turned out to be a combination of the expansion tank and my cold water pressure. Paul who installed the system, through perseverance, managed to sort this out with a few adjustments. Paul did a thoroughly professional job throughout and was recommended to me by a neighbour. For anyone reading this review I would like to point out as to why I went for a 'hybrid' system rather than a combination boiler. Most central heating companies will install a combi by default. If you live in a hard water area you will pay the price as they are prone to scale build up even with the associated filters installed. My system gives you the best of both worlds and I would (although its early days admittedly) recommend my set up with Paul to install it.

   As a maintenance technician at a busy port, I have used the services of Westex for many years now. From servicing and repairs to full install they have never let me down and I have always managed to talk to someone,even out of hours during evenings and weekends. Their engineers have a vast knowledge of our systems which are a variety of oil,gas and lpg fired boilers and space heaters both commercial and domestic. I would recommend this business and their staff.
