I needed an immersion heater element changed. I sent all the details needed to obtain the correct part etc. They insisted on visiting and then charged me £170 just to look at the job and confirm what I'd already told them. They also said lots of other work would need doing (when I had a more reputable plumber visit, they did not insist on this extra work or indeed charge for viewing). I asked for an estimate for this work, it never arrived. In response to the owners comment below: I googled for a local plumber. I found one that appeared to have good reviews. I don't know if another organisation was involved but it was mph services that turned up to an unnecessary visit. It was mph services that insisted that I pay £170 directly into their account immediately (before they left the house). I now realise that I have been SCAMMED! At minimum, MPH Services has been an accomplice to this scam.

Mack did a boiler changeover for us. I'm a retired Chartered Builder and I expect a lot, and we wanted someone from our area of Bath. We needed the work done while we were away on holiday so we gave plenty of notice. Mack's quote was very competitive, he did the work exactly when we asked him to and we have no quality issues. We also found him to be a thoroughly nice guy. If you want to be picky you could argue that his admin' is a bit iffy but it was fine on the important bits such as the installation checklist and guarantee registration. I would use again without hesitation.
