If I could give 0 stars I would, I have been a member at Whitechapel BE well for well over a year, however loyal customers obviously does not mean anything in this day and age. I had an arrear due to an error in which the company did not take my direct debit even though there was money to be taken. I have been told it has something to do with Revolut? though this was their fault there was no apology and the young black girl was extremely rude as though it was my fault. She refused to allow me into the gym, I even said I would pay at the end of my session. She then proceeded to ignore me and continue chatting with her colleague whilst I waited to pay the arrears - good customer service goes a long way, please check who you are hiring

I do really like this gym purely because it has a ladies only section and is not so busy compared to nearby gyms. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The only thing is the gym is always SO warm, it’s sometimes impossible to complete my workout because I am over heating. The air con does work (most of the time) but it really needs upgrading to accommodate the size of the gym. It would also benefit from having a fixed temperature as currently anyone can access the air con controls.
Very good centre overall. Good equipment, ladies only gym which is amazing! Relatively quiet centre which is also very good unlike other gyms. The staff are amazing and very helpful as always. Very nice gym to have locally.
I really appreciate the womens only section of the gym, I come from Hackney just for that. The changing rooms are alright, but the showers are a hit and miss so you can't plan to wash yourself there as that day you might just get cold water...
Good place for indoor sports like Badminton and Gym/fitness activities. Shower facilities and locker rooms are available. The reception & staff are friendly and attentive.
Only one shower is working and others out of service, therefore, We have been waiting in the queue about hours. shower area is too much dirty, some stuffs are too rude, For everyone enjoyment, the authority really need to be professional ….
I rarely write reviews but I had to today because of what happened today. To be fair this review doesn't even deserve 1 star, customer service was terrible, reception staff very rude and stubborn. Usually come to play badminton with no issue but this time the receptionist was asking for £1 extra to use the court which I already paid £13.75 for. It is already extortion considering others are charging £10 for a court with no hidden fees. I've been to a few 'Better' gyms and they all seem to have different rules. Either way it doesn't make sense to pay extra for each extra person I bring when I paid for the court, why would I pay extra for the person I'm playing badminton with?? Do they expect me to hire out the court to play by myself. Honestly ridiculous. For them to make a big fuss about enforcing £1 for the one person I bought along with me speaks volumes about their customer service. Only good thing they did was refund me my money. Will not be coming back to this place again, and I hope others won't as well when there's cheaper courts available nearby with better customer service.
Staff are really nice and considerate regarding male and female changing rooms etc. 1. One of my big issues is the lack of good showers, they've been ice cold many times and don't get warmer, then they're just out of order for a while. 2. My second big issue is really the timings. Honestly most people have to be at work sooner so it would be useful having 6AM starts, that one hour earlier makes a big difference. My sister and I have considered getting rid of our subscriptions because of this but thankfully at the moment we are working from home. This however is changing so 6AM starts even if it's a few days a week would be super helpful! Thanks!
