    Feedback on Swimming Pool Management The swimming pool is being run with little structure or accountability. Staff appear to make decisions as they please rather than following any clear policy. They justify this by calling it a β€œcommunity pool,” as if that gives them the right to ignore discipline and basic standards. There is no proper lane management. Swim coaches act as if they own the entire pool. It is common to see 7–8 adults crammed into one lane while lanes reserved for teaching have only two people casually chatting with a coach. This is unfair and poor utilisation of space. When I approached the manager to share this feedback, instead of listening, he became defensive right from the start. His first response was, β€œWe’ve run this pool this way for 10 years. It’s a community pool. If you don’t like it, go elsewhere.” That attitude is unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role. A colleague of his, clearly junior, was more professional and respectful. The manager, however, was dismissive and arrogant, behaving as if any criticism is a personal insult rather than an opportunity to improve. His final remark, β€œDon’t come if you don’t like it,” says everything about his approach to customer service. If I had not already paid in advance, I would have left immediately. This is not about one incident, but about a culture of poor management and lack of accountability. The pool desperately needs proper policies for lane discipline, fair allocation of space, and above all staff who listen and respect members rather than treat them with contempt

    Just finished a better weight management by healthwise, it was 12 weeks of helpful advice on ways to live better with food choices. The instructor (Sarah) was great support and had great knowledge with the diet aspect and showing us how to use the gym. She was a great support along the way. The programme has helped me to become more confident in using the gym and classes. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who needs some help with weight loss and healthy life choices.

    Great place to come, a large space with a swimming pool, library and gym, as well as a cafe. The pool is a reasonably big one where they sometimes run classes and there is also a kids pool next to the main pool. The gym is also pretty big, with lots of running machines and lots of different sections. The library has books for all ages and in all different categories of books. I recommend coming here.

    I have just completed a 12 week weight management program ran by Sarah. Absolutely Amazing!! Sarah was extremely supportive, encouraging and motivating. Her nutritional and physical exercise knowledge is of a high standard. I received a wealth of information and guidance. Most of all I lost weight and improved my health and wellbeing status.     Great experience and good price for a swim. I signed up with the Greenwich One Card through the website, which made the price for an off peak swim Β£3.40. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well. You did need a 20p for a the lockers but a couple of people had put their bag by the side in the pool area, so I imagine this okay when it's quiet.

    Quite good facilities in gym but so uncustomer friendly it’s unreal for a customer service industry?! I think they forget its a customer service industry-supposedly!. Gym has good equipment but is underground so very demotivating nothing like the old arches which was lovely and it’s now seems to be run by people who have generally never used the gym in their life and its run for non gym goers! Closing at 4 pm on a Saturday!!! Is that what customers want?? Er really?!?

    I was in the weight loss class for 12 weeks and my instructor was Sara, I like every moment of sessions. Sara is a great instructor; she made us understand why we should keep active. We must be mindful with food portions, the sugars, the saturates and the labels, the alcohol and lot more. Today marked the end of our weight loss lessons but I’m surely going to keeping coming to the gym. I enjoyed every moment here; thanks to the other instructor I met Lee. Sara, you are great and lovely. Thanks for the experience and the encouragement

    The perfect pool for family. Since first time now i go regularly. Great space. Very clean. Hot shower. Lot of cab for change. Storage for clothes with the key. Have to put 20p if you want to left inside. Two pool. Main pool the depth is 1.5m and the second for kids with very warm water is 1 m depth. Need too book separate. Very polite staff.
