Dave and his team did a great job replacing my soft top, re-covering my back panel and installing a radio upgrade. An old school business that gives good advice on other aspects of the Figaro over and above the work they were doing. I would definitely recommend them if your Figaro needs work.
I imported a suzuki alto works via Algys imports, which got sent directly to these guys. The car was a little bit rough and needed some work. Dave was very helpful, always kept me up to date and did a lot of work on the car for me. His mechanics are very skilled. They carried out some custom work for me, including another bung in the exhaust for a wide band sensor and welded up the door hinges for me. I can't recommend this company enough! Thank you for all your help!
My experience couldn’t have start worse with Hallen, having been ripped off by a ‘Japanese agent’, so with great suspicion I started talking to Dave about getting my car tested and registered, over the course of this process I learnt what a find Hallen is: Dave is thorough, conscientiously, works meticulously with real respect for your pride and joy. Old school excellent service. Ten stars.
Cannot recommend Dave and his team highly enough. They restored my Figaro after poor workmanship by a non-specialist, and were really understanding of budget, helping me choose essential and advisory fixes to pass its MOT. The car was returned in better shape than ever. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Figaro.
I have taken my friends figaro here a few times, they have always been polite and friendly and if any small job has needed to be done they have it straight away or advised what needs to be done given written quotes. Dave I have been told by friends has many years experience with figaros, and I have always been dealt with promptly . I have met other staff who are also are experienced and friendly.
