   John helped us out to resolve a problem with seat belt indicators, for the rear seats of a ford grand connect which had baffled ford main dealers, the dealer in London who sold the car and other electrical specialists. He also helped in the replacement of load bay interior lights, removed by a previous owner. Proper impressed with the work. Cost of the work was good value.

   If I could give a higher rating then I would. Fantastic service, prompt arrival and gave me a really good explanation as to what my issue was. Gave the cost of his service over the phone so I knew what to expect upon arrival, making for an even swifter service! If you have any diagnostic issues in Bristol/surrounding area, I couldn’t recommend this service enough. Thanks again for helping me out mate!

   I put one star because I am unable to put -1. He came to my home to check the car's bulbs as they are running poorly. Sometimes the main screen panel inside the car has poorly light as well, so I called him because I was thinking that it could be something else apart of the bulb. To mention here that I am a woman. He switch off and on my own car's bulb and he said that he cannot do anything. The bulb was moving around (up and down), so to fix it, the headlamp should be taken off as the bulb's holder was missing, so he confirmed again that he cannot do anything. He asked for £52 for 5 minutes labour ( the other 5 minutes he was attending a phonecall). When I said it is an abusive price as he didn't do anything, he said ironically "I have changed the bulb". Yes, but it is my bulb, so I don't need an electrical mechanic to do it as I can do it myself. When I asked for the invoice, he said if I would like the invoice VAT would be on top, therefore he said to me that it is better to pay by cash. When I asked to give me the bank account number to do the transfer, he would like to give me his personal bank account instead of the company's bank account and he was carrying on insisting in cash at least £30. I told him that I had only £20 as a note in my wallet, then he took the money and he run away. That is how his enterprise works.

   My car had broken down on the drive. The local garage had been up and couldn't work out the issue, and I'd been quoted various fees to get the vehicle recovered. John at Diagnostic Dave came out and correctly diagnosed the battery fault with minimal fuss, and explained the issue to me in layman's terms. I organised a replacement battery and the car's been working fine ever since. Recommended
