I ordered two pendants online and was delighted with the speedy service and especially with the design and quality of the pieces, and attention to detail. The gold apple (Philippa Taylor) is perfectly finished with its tiny, veined leaf, and likewise the owl (Zoe and Morgan) has finely-detailed plumage. Both on beautiful chains. Definitely recommended.
Wonderful personalised service. Had my wedding ring made here. Phillipa took time to go through the different setting options, gem colours and gold type for my design. I havnt been able find the setting she did for my ring anywhere else! She's a true artist and well priced. Will definitely come back again!
I cannot rate Phillipa of Taylor Black Jewellery highly enough . Her attention to detail , taste , fine workmanship is second to none . Her design of bespoke jewellery for me is exquisite. This piece was made from broken earrings of my mothers , so doubly special . This hopefully is the first of many pieces she will make for me !

The piece is well crafted, and my wife loves it and is uniquely hers! It is always good to support an independent jeweller and when they are as greatly skilled and knowledgeable as Philippa is, the experience undeniably feels more personal and memorable. Lovely shop and highly recommended. I had some precious stones which I wanted to have set in earrings and a ring. Philippa discussed and showed possible options and what she thought would work best. The end result was some lovely creative contemporary jewellery at a very reasonable price which has since been admired and commented on by many.
