My guide dog and daughter (15y/o) love playing here has a park with a wooded area that is great for imaginative play. Has a paddle pool and a play/picnic area for younger children. Also has a bowling club with bowling green. Nice kept park where toilets have recently been repainted.

The paddling pool is open daily from 12 noon until 5 pm. There is also a sand pit, and it's open the same hours as the paddling pool, The gates are locked at 5pm daily for maintenance work. The public toilets are open by the pool maintenance engineer daily and locked each evening.

I've only given 3 stars. Although I think this is a lovely park and great for children. It's kept very clean, and has a great paddling pool . But the public toilets are always closed. They really need sorting out. And looked after during day time. And opened.

This is my local park. There is a nice playground, a separate paddling pool and sand area and several tennis courts and public loos. In the middle is a large green grass area for playing, walking and a few trees around the area for some shade. Could have a few more benches.

Fantastic place for a child's outdoor birthday party. Wide open space, an area with trees so perfect for those old outdoor games we all used to play such as hide & seek & Frisby games plus a traditional children's play area. In addition to the 8 or so children at the birthday party for one of my family members there was probably another 30 or so children playing in the park. Excellent location

Good playground and adjoining green space with very little litter.

Good general recreation ground, used to be good play area for children but showing age now and lack of care. Toilets are typical council, ie either locked or extremely dirty

A really nice place to go and relax in the summer with the children. The little paddling pool is especially great for young children as they enjoy splashing and cooling off. It's all fenced off very well where the pool is so Jo escaping little ones near the road. The best place to park is on the side street near the main gates as you approach from Walton just after the park.
