Wandle Park need to be cleaned and playground grass need to be groomed properly, even if it is beautiful. The park is dog friendly and the Gazebo is the perfect place for family to gather.
I go to Wandle park often and have been going for years. First with my children and now for casual walks either alone or with my dog. It’s a lovely little park - dog friendly and with a nice little play area for the kiddies. There’s also a skate area and tennis courts with a ping pong table which is really cool.
Peaceful.. quite.. good place to walk dogs and sit and enjoy the nature
It is a good all around park there is a designated area for kids , you have a great skateboard area , a tennis court and basketball court. There is Wandle river running through the park . In general the park is pretty spacious you could have a picnic but unfortunately there no inclosure for letting a dog off the lead
It has a skate park lake going through loads of stuff for the kids and a really nice just to sit and chill
Nice park to stroll through and is very close to a Tram Stop. Loads of squirrels running around collecting lots of nuts. A very pleasant place to walk around. A great play area for children with a mini "jungle gym" Easy enough to run round. Each lap is just over half a mile, flat. it desperately needs a play area for toddlers. There’s nothing for them and it’s a huge gap. The sandpit has bricks internally which doesn’t make any sense. Not enough bench available.
A pleasant park to the west of Croydon town centre, accessible from the Wandle Park tram stop. If approaching on foot from Croydon, note that the entrance from Westfield Road is closed, however you can get in through the entrance on Theobald Road. One of the sources of the River Wandle is in this park, surrounded by varied vegetation - I would recommend a walk through the park.
Lovely place great for children to run around! I would have liked more equipment for younger children. But overall a nice quiet space to relax especially on the bank of the river wandle.
