Aberford Park truly exceeded my expectations as a solo traveler exploring with my dog. The park is spacious and beautifully landscaped, offering a great mix of open fields and shaded areas perfect for walking or simply relaxing on a bench. My dog had plenty of space to run and play, and I noticed several other dog owners enjoying the friendly atmosphere. The walking paths are well-maintained, and there are plenty of bins, which helps keep the area clean. I felt very safe and comfortable here, making it an ideal spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and meet other pet owners. Highly recommended for solo adventurers and anyone with pets!

I'm not sure if fishing is allowed as there is no information on the site, I don't fish but I did see people fishing there.

Very outdated and equipment not safe for children, been reported numerous times but council isn't interested.

Neat park with clean facilities. Great for picnics and kids play time. The only downside is that the water is really smelly but there is plenty space away from it.

The overall visit experience is really pleasing. There is plenty of parking, a play area for children, also lots of space for a nice walk for parents / adults to stroll and children to run about. The parking is close to the restuarant. The restuarant is really nice, clean and the dining tables a chairs are nicely spaced out. A professional, attentive friendly lady waiter. The menu is very nice, food and beverages are served throughout the day into the evening. It's got a cosy feel. There is also a sheltered outside area, adjoined to the enclosed restuarant. Alchohol is available. It's wheelchair/mobility scooter friendly. The toilets are clean. Go and enjoy.

Great fun with my Grandson. I wish they'd fix the fences, put some soft landing at the slides, etc, just to combat the mud and puddles. Otherwise an enjoyable time.

The council are improving this park every year. I've lived in this town for a long time and have seen people tending the park frequently. They have done a huge renovation on the park equipments and more families seem to go to the park now. I enjoy having runs in the park as the paths are very wide to not get into other people's way. It is definately much safer than in the past.
