One of our favourite places in London. The green landscapes, the paths, the woods are perfect for walks, picnics and days out. There’s no real playground area for children, which might be the only let down for those with young ones. The cafe near the main car park is nothing to rave about. The staff always look overwhelmed with the regular traffic. The old mansion house in the middle has a great WW2 story. Nevertheless, we’re there for the nature and the beauty that the country park offers. One of the best spots in the borough of Enfield.

Such a big beautiful park. Lovely huge, wide open spaces. Pretty ponds, lakes and streams. Even a forest. Vast areas for joggers, family picnics, children to play, dogs to run around and for sunbathers. A new favourite place of mine!

A an elderly lady I met in Trent Park ( February) recommend the time daffodils blooming. She was mesmerised by the picture of the daffodils. She says it is a beautiful sight. Now I am here and have no idea what to say except she was right. Thank you. The summer can come

Quick stroll around the new housing in the park. Very busy with families and dog walkers. Some of the landscaping is just beautiful. Would like to do a long hike another time. There is an animal sanctuary there, entry is £4.50 for adults. Butterfly meadow and other attractions in the park. There is a Go Ape centre there too. Car parking available.

A lovely open park with lots of routes to take and just get lost in, you'll always find your way back to the exit. I especially love going through the woods and seeing all the dens that were built over time. Great for imaginary play! Also the beautiful parakeets that visited by the cafe was a lovely surprise for us.

One of those parks you walk on the edge of to get a true scale of. Look out for the horse riders and the spectacular Japanese Water Garden nearby. It's good to come on a lovely Summer's evening and take in the views or even the Autumn to see the gorgeous sea of orange and brown.

This has been my favourite park since a young age and I will never get tired of long walks here. Each season brings its own beauty here but my absolute favourite is autumn! Very dog friendly park and great walking paths, it can get muddy on days it’s rained but it’s worth it. I can’t recommend this park enough, it is truly paradise for me.

Great park if you are looking for a longer quieter walk. Plenty of runners, dog walkers and horse riders, all seeming very considerate. Parking is also available if you have to drive to get there. Please keep in mind that the Cockfosters entrance will be a bit busier than other entrances to the park.
