“We booked the pool for the first time last weekend and had a wonderful experience with our family of three. Although smaller than your regular pools, the pool is clean and big and deep enough for both leisure and exercise. And the water is softer too. Having the whole pool to ourselves in a quiet and private place was a true escape from the chaotic and crowded public family pools. We would love to come back!”
“Rafael and the team are always friendly and professional. They keep the swim spa in perfect condition.”
“Luxury country club with golf and swimming. Great venue for weddings”
“Dedication, honesty, and authenticity. They do all they can for the love of swimming and waterpolo. What Aram and his team can offer is second to none. Two and a half decades of experience.”
“Great Value for Money, very clean gym and doesnt get too busy either, some great classes too Only negative- ca be quite hot and noisy in the badminton courts”
“I had my son's swimming party here and it was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and the pool looked amazing with the sensory lights, swim toys and music. We did not feel rushed to leave at the end and were given a huge room for cake and food. Thank you for a great day. I would really recommend this venue.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend the swimming classes at Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre. My 4-year-old son has only attended a few sessions, and he has already gone from being scared of the water to swimming a short distance on his back without floats! This amazing progress has happened in just a few weeks, with only one half-hour class per week. His teacher, Adam, is excellent. You can really see that he loves what he does — he’s fantastic at teaching children while also making the lessons fun and enjoyable. That’s the best way for kids to learn! I am happy with the experience and grateful for the confidence my son has gained in such a short time. Highly recommended!”
“One of the best 121 swimming classes I have had with Victoria. I have built my confidence and now feel I can swim much better after learning as a child but lost all mojo to do it. My family even commented on my swimming ability when going on holidays. Hayley and Victoria are so professional and friendly in what they do.”
“Great swimming pool. Friendly staff, well equipped. Highly recommend swimming lessons here.”
“Lovely family run business. My dad n I get our pool supplies here.”
“Irene and Lauren were amazing. Cannot recommend Sundance Villas enough. The communication, the booking process and paperwork, and of course Villa Quardia in Cyprus was amazing. The car hire they suggested was also first class with a car just outside arrivals ready and waiting for us, which made our escape from the airport a no fuss, no waiting experience. The directions to our remote villa( including junction and turning photos ) meant we couldn’t go wrong. Amazing location too and it's a lovely big house with a clean pool and great views. Thank you”
“An absolute must do - what an experience, fantastic fun and thrill. With thanks to Ori and All the staff that were so helpful (and patience with us during the instruction and early stages, Cat was amazing) but we got the hang of it... We smashed it and loved every moment! After the first two stages we were on our own, which gives you freedom to enjoy the experience with friends or family - though a little daunting at first, but the Go Ape staff are always about below and a whistle away! P.S, I'd suggest gloves as a must, and definitely zipped pockets or belt pouch/lanyard phone holder, so you can keep these moments with you!!”
“A an elderly lady I met in Trent Park ( February) recommend the time daffodils blooming. She was mesmerised by the picture of the daffodils. She says it is a beautiful sight. Now I am here and have no idea what to say except she was right. Thank you. The summer can come”
“Nice park where people took their dogs and had a cuppa at the small manned kiosk”
“Friary Park is destination for a wide range of activities! The combination of walking paths, an outdoor gym, a kids' playground, and a skateboard ramp ensures that visitors of all ages can find something to enjoy. Availability of tennis courts for booking is another great feature for sports lovers. While the toilets might need some updates, the park's overall appeal remains strong, especially with snacks and drinks on hand for those looking to unwind. It is a versatile and community-friendly park that truly caters to diverse interests.”
“Great little park, plenty of green open space, Pymmes Brook running down south side of the park, bowls club, plenty of children's apparatus and outside gym equipment. There is a football pitch, leisure centre with gym, swimming pools, outside tennis and basketball courts, also a cafe accessible from the park. Some parking in the street, paid for parking available in the leisure centre carpark.”
“Our two boys are thriving at Dolphin Swim School. Our eldest started by joining the crash course and has progressed quickly. Annie and her team are so focussed on the children and do everything they can to progress them. A really lovely environment for the kids and parents!! Couldn’t recommend this swim school enough, as well as learning the boys have lots of fun to !!”
“We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary with a stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Borehamwood, and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their support and kindness—even before we arrived—set the tone for a wonderful experience. We stayed in an accessible room, which was spotlessly clean, tidy, and thoughtfully laid out. It made our stay comfortable and stress-free, which we really appreciated. The restaurant staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the beautifully organised presentation made our anniversary feel extra special. Every detail reflected care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so memorable. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories—and we’ll definitely be returning.”
“Finchley Lido Leisure Centre is an excellent place for fitness, relaxation, and family fun. The facilities are always clean and well looked after, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The swimming pool is spacious, with warm water and plenty of lanes, making it great for both casual swimmers and regular training. The gym offers a wide range of modern equipment, and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. I also love the family-friendly areas, which make it easy to enjoy a day out with children. Overall, a fantastic centre that offers great value and a consistently positive experience.”
