I ordered a southern fried chicken burger with bacon cheese and salad for £11.99, and it came with only the chicken and it was small! Also ordered chips, gravy and cheese and they didn't add the cheese. They also lied and updated the app that the food was delivered when it wasn't, and it eventually came an hour later only because I had to call them!

Was delivered very quickly for a big order which makes me think some of the order had been sitting a while as the chicken goujons where like rubber, the batter just falling off them and the chips where like rubber. Burger was look warm at best. Very disappointing especially as it was not cheap! Delivery driver was friendly.

Rang to order and the fella answered saying “Cavehill”, no idea if it’s the chippy or the hill itself I’ve got through to. Anyway, order a sliced chicken goujon supper with cheesy curry sauce on top and repeated the cheesy curry sauce bit twice to make sure he got it. Landed up and I was the only order sitting there (Monday night and place was dead) and paid £13 odd quid for the food and brought it home to find a hand full of chips and a few bits of sliced goujons completely dry, no cheese and a tiny tub of curry sauce on the side. Almost impressed he managed to get the order wrong considering it was probably the only one he did since I rang.

Delivery said 20mins. Rang shop said it had left. Rang 1ins later said they would ring driver. Food came 36 mins after they said it had left shop so probably longer than that. Offered to replace if cold. Was barely warm it was 1am. Didn't wait to wait any longer. Onion rings chips and batter of chicken went in bin as was completely soggy. Such a disappointment and a waste of £20 and waste of an hour and a half of my time. Never again. Keeping in mind there is zero traffic at 1am. Could have delivered to bango and bk in 40mins. Poor management. Won't be ordering from there again and shame as their food is genuinely good when delivered within a reasonable time before it is spoiled by steaming away in a polystyrene carton for 40mins.

Ordered a fish supper …. Chips were ok fish was greasy and my stomach turned all night….I have never felt so sick! Ended up vomiting it up again…. Wish I haddve read the reviews before ordering. Thought this was still the Captains Table was not informed it was called Monte Carlo when I phoned to order. Will not be ordering from again.

I used to ADORE Monte Carlo but I feel like it has gone downhill drastically. I ordered my food at 5.15pm, half of it arrived at 6:50pm over an hour and a half later, the super chip was stone cold and very tough. When I phoned to enquire where the rest of my order was, the person I spoke with initially tried to make me look like a liar, saying that his receipt for my order showed differently to what I had paid for. He then changed his tune and yeah he did apologise, he said that he would have the rest of the stuff out to me within 15 minutes. 15 Minutes came and went, thought that's fine I'll give them a little longer, so I called at 7.30pm to ask again where the order was, the chips for my partner's burger meal arrived stone cold again. I used to love Monte Carlo now I am not so sure I will be ordering again.

Vague as I live close and believe they know my face. The staff are the only saving grace for this chippy and only because they are nice. They do not know food though. I heard 2 workers ask another multiple times what is in certain orders (whats in this supper, what goes on a fully dressed burger etc) they are unhygienic and they're careless. Ive had 3 orders since moving nearby and all 3 were absolutely horrible experiences. First was chicken goujons and battered sausages, the batter was rock hard and I ordered mayo and curry. I got just gravy. Cheesy chip was the next order as I wanted to play it safe and what came was a chip that seemed to be covered in sliced "plastic" cheese. It was wrank. Lastly a couple of days ago when my friends decided to order and didnt listen to me, I got a burger hoping that since the chips, chicken and sausages were terrible, maybe their burgers were the reason they are still in business. I was wrong. Burnt and came with lettuce and tomatos even though i asked for no salad. My friends chips were all cold and 30% of the items didnt come so we called up and the staff were lovely and told us theyd fix it asap. Remember that we're around the corner from them. 2 minutes walking. Well an hour and a half goes by and we call and they say that theyre on their way. 25 minutes later we get the knock and the rest is here. But its not. Its still missing a drink a chip and a portion of battered sausages and a dip. The driver seemed so ashamed and offered to go back to the shop but by this point we were ready to leave after eating and didnt want to be waiting a further hour. I can only assume this is a front for some shady business or a blind, tasteless rich man's dream that he refuses to give up on because no business can run this way

Expensive and not nice. It was so expensive I thought I'd been over charged, but there was no menu/prices on the wall for me to check. Turns out it actually is £9.45 for a fish supper and it wasn't a huge portion. Wouldn't have minded so much if it was really tasty but it wasn't, the batter was soft and undercooked, (same as the onion rings batter)...my stomach was in bits all night, so was my partner's. For comparison, John longs fish supper is £7, is a huge portion and widely considered the nicest in Belfast. One star cos the chicken burger was decent.

Ordered 2 chicken burgers and paid extra for house sauce on one and house and garlic mayo on the other and a taco chip from monte carlo. What arrived was two burgers with no sauce and two random tubs of gravy?? We rung the shop and they said they would send down another order so usually the process is they take back the food that first came, so we sat hungry for 2 hours and waited for the second order to arrive, when it came it had no taco chip so they just replaced the burgers and this is what arrived, this is the extra house and garlic sauce on a burger that I paid extra for, the fact that no taco chip arrived meant we had to reheat the one that initially came. £20 that cost, its one of the most expensive chippy in belfast and it was a complete waste of money. 1 star for the staff being okay on the phone
