   Our experience with Milburys, Wotton-under-Edge branch started on May 17th when we first viewed a property with Rachel. She was brilliant and came to our house on the same afternoon which was a Saturday so we could put our house on the market as soon as possible. Although we were already in Milburys system certain details, especially the photos, needed updating. Owen contacted us regarding the particulars and we went 'live' on Tuesday 20th May. Viewings were arranged very quickly. Unfortunately our buyer pulled out at the end of July. We went back on the market and secured another buyer. Owen and Rachel worked really hard on our behalf to get everything over the line. Time scales were tight and they never stopped nudging things forwards. When we finally completed on the 10th December it was a huge relief. Thank you to everyone at Milburys that was involved with our sale and purchase.

   Did a good job overall for our house sale and provided a buyer from their list of contacts before the house reached the market. Rachel Spencer is highly recommended: switched-on, proactive and helpful. Rachel did a lot of chasing for us, Owen helped too. That said, we’d be £25k worse off if we took all of milburys advice, so it’s good to know what the house will sell for and give clear instructions. House prices are always a guessing game and it’s better to do your own research and know what’s realistic.

   As a first-time landlord I was apprehensive about the process of letting my flat. I was unsure of what to do in order to get my apartment ready and also how to secure a trustworthy and reliable tenant. Then I enlisted the help of Milburys, who made the whole process straightforward. Simon F, was my agent and I could not be happier with the service I have received so far. Great communicator and throughly knowledgeable about the latest and future legislation requirements. By using Milburys services, it took the stress and time/effort out of the process of preparing the property and finding a long-term tenant. As a result I enjoy peace of mind and feel at ease as my flat is in capable hands. Highly recommended. 10/10.

   In a situation where I needed to quickly find a private property to rent for a medium term let and was very lucky and thankful to find Milburys. All of the staff i dealt with were friendly and professional, from the staff that arranged viewings, those that always met me on time and provided great additional info for both the property and local area, to the back office staff that handled the contractual side in a very easy and efficient way. All in all, what can often be a very stressful time was made much better thanks to this great local agent and if I am ever in a similar situation again they will be my first call. To add, following my experience with Millburys, I recommended them to a good friend of mine who was looking to sell her house. She has sent me many messages of thanks for the recommendation having found them brilliant to deal with and getting a quick and easy sale that was also stress free.

   As a prospective tenant I received excellent service throughout the process. All the staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. Simon, Jon, Agnes and Jude ensured the hole process from initial enquiry to moving in went smoothly. They worked hard to find a rental property for me in a challenging market! When the time comes to move I will certainly be using them again.

   After an initial reasonable experience with a viewing the admin fell apart as the whole lettings team seemed to go on holiday. Their attitude to tenants is appalling. The assumption appears to be that we are all the scum of the earth. On the rare occasion an email or call was returned it was from someone who patently couldn't care less. The information provided was about the wrong address on at least one point, which has cost me money. Agnes tried hard to help and was pleasant to deal with. No one else could care less. When I went into their office to deal with some paperwork, the attitude when it was discovered I was a tenant and not someone important shifted to the frosty. Thankfully they don't manage the property I am renting. The landlords are lovely, but if I come to buy in the area I won't touch anything related to Milburys. My advice is pick anyone else to rent through.
