Ordered her for the 1st time with my friend today. The food was lovely and the curry sauce was also really nice. It complimented the house special friend rice very well and the beef chow mein. Overall it was delicious. I am hard to please so well done. I will definitely order from here next time I come over.
Cant beat their 8 pound 3 in 1.. well 4 in 1.. i get the spare ribs, sweet and sour sace,chips and rice. Its my go to every time i havent got time to cook a meal my self. Always hits the spot and full of flavour. And its a big portion aswell.
Wing Wah Chinese takeaway serves up some decent dishes with quite good service. However, their delivery system lacks consistency. Regardless of specified delivery times, orders tend to arrive either egregiously late or almost instantly, which is quite annoying. Also I was disheartened to discover that they've ceased using marrowfat peas in their dishes which they’ve replaced with garden peas. Their omelettes have shrunk by half too. Additionally, many times dishes are overly greasy, which detracts from the overall enjoyment. Despite these setbacks, the food quality and service remain quite good. However, improvements in delivery timing, dish ingredients, and grease levels would enhance the overall experience. Lastly, the place could do with a fresh touch up as it’s the same since it opened which was many many years ago.
I asked for the Singapore curry to be hotter as it should be.. and to add some chilli as It was never hot. One time I ordered a delivery and asked again for more chilli They said I said less chilli..... how can u take chilli out of a dish. Anyway it had no chilli. The next day I reheat the rice and it smelled bad. It was OK till I got to the left hand side of the dish and I hit a chilli that tasted of cleaning products. It was either a bad chilli or soap. I rang up to complain and she said it was my fault I said less chilli (dumb answer) how? And that it was because I reheated it that's why the little bit of chilli made it bad. She then informed me to go somewhere else next time... Bs answer... Don't order seafood there as who knows its not worth the risk.. The little bit I had had all the seeds left in. That's what tasted so bad and hot. Also the rice was old U can see that's the only bit of chilli I had. Never going there again not worth it..
Got order wrong yet again and blame the customer after being relayed back too them wen food came the prawns were chewy and both curry's were just full of onions and hardly any beef never again
Staff please t and helpful food is spot on a bit more expensive but you pay for the best and that's what this place is
DO NOT GET FROM THIS CHINESE!!! the food I have from this place is absolutely disgusting.My 12 chicken balls came 8 BLACK chicken and 4 normal chicken balls with RAW prawns in??????? I then called up and explained that this disgusting order I had was no right they then continued to say that it wasn’t and I said I’d go there with the food right now and they ended the phone!
Just ordered for the first time this evening and was absolutely delicious ! The lady who took my call made our food nice and spicy as requested. I did order from just eat and forgot to put a note about extra chillis so I called. They were really good about it. Delivery was like super fast, I’d say probably 10mins !! I requested that our food was cooked separate to pork and the lady assured me that they clean the pan before cooking the dishes which helped me decide to order from them ! The mala king prawn chow mien was lovely with a generous amount of prawns and the salt and pepper chicken was just wow !! The chicken is halal guys !! Highly recommended !! 5 stars !!
Always ordering from here. Food is hot on delivery and very tasty. But today I am not happy at all. Paying 6.50£ for prawns I expect to get good amount of them in the container. That’s not fair at all to get container stuffed with vegetables and only 5 prawns ‼️That’s a rip-off
