Had such a good time in the restaurant tonight. Great vibe, great portion sizes and overall great service from our waitress Delia, she was so pleasant and attentive, definitely a credit to the restaurant. The food overall is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes do not skimp! Our lovely chef Rubel knows how to make a mean curry! Love this place. Will be back in a hurry :)

On our visit to Bangor we tried this restaurant, all food here is Halal, it is at street corner and on 1st floor with no accessibility option, we parked our buggy downstairs and went up. The environment is good, it can become busy depending on the day and time so on busy days booking might be required. We didn't as it was not extremely busy. Apparently Saturday nights are busy due to live music till late. We were served Papadom with tamarind mixed onions (quite tasty) and some sauces to enjoy. Our order was modest included garlic nan (soft and tasty) with grilled tandoori platter (this was tasty and came with chefs sauce), this was good as well. The drinks do not include traditional drinks like lassi, or chai however when we asked we were served with sweet plain lassi and mango lassi, out of these mango was quite nice, no takeaway option for drinks though. All staffs were friendly and very nice environment. Would recommend for desi/southasian taste buds. Some of food is excessively coloured but I guess in some cultures this is norm and it's not a negative point, just a pointer for picture and looks.

In my view best Indian in Bangor. Had a great chicken naga here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. They catered for the kids who aren’t keen on Indian food. Don’t hesitate but go check it out.

I have lived in Bangor for 21 years, how have I never eaten here before? I was born in NI and raised in Durban, South Africa, which has a large Indian population which is where I developed a love for the cuisine. I ordered lamb curry tonight and it took me right back to Durban and actually brought tears to my eyes. The food was outstanding and the flavours were incredible. My mouth was salivating even after we had left. I will definitely be back as this has just become my favourite restaurant. Even the cheesecake at the end was a flavourful event!!!! Tonight I go to sleep a happy woman!

New Year’s Eve last night. Superb food, wonderful caring attentive staff-brilliant. Could not ask for more. Thankyou for a great dining experience.

Awful experience again when getting a takeaway. Collecting the food has no bearing on the outcome. Poppadoms Where soggy, rice was cold, chips where freezing. Mains must of been cooked last as they were lukewarm. So disappointing, if you want to eat in, the foods good. If takeaways your preference don’t bother from here.
