A Hidden Gem at Sunset We had a fantastic time at Eastbrookend Country Park! Took part in Arty’s Sculpture Trail — such a creative and engaging activity, especially for families. We went just before sunset, and the lighting made everything feel magical. Got some amazing photos with the sculptures and the golden sky in the background. Peaceful, well-maintained, and full of charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing walk, a bit of art, and some beautiful nature.
Stunning country park with lots of facilities on site: - Free car park - Great children's playground - Outdoor gym - Cafe with hot and cold food/drinks - Toilet facilities - Picnic benches - Dog friendly - Several lakes and outdoor fishing options (fishing permit required) - Great space for bike rides - Horses on site (absolutely stunning) - Berry picking (when in season) - Annual Teddy bear picnic with mini beasts (hosted by LBBD council) - Bridge connecting to Beam Parklands (Great for extended bike rides) - Close to Hornchurch Country Park and Ingreborne Park Overall, great country park with hours of outdoor fun for all. Highly recommend to others.
Great nature reserve which is largely untouched, not the sort of thing you would expect to find in such an urban area! You will find free roaming rabbits and horses here and it’s fairly quiet. Plenty of free parking is available via the Dagenham Road entrance and here there is also a well maintained playground and a cafeteria.
Pleasantly surprised how well kept this park is. It’s certainly not impacted like the nearby Beam Valley park by drunks and littering. I love the little wooden sculptures popping up. Quite flat but so versatile with sectioned out structure and the pond in the middle. Pictures in early Mar, but still a nice walk.
Big enough not to really see anyone and a perfect place for some moody black and white photography on a misty November morning. This nature reserve is well managed with plenty of wildlife, accessible fishing, well maintained paths and a play area. If you would like some peace, quiet and solitude then you are bound to find it somewhere here.
Lovely park for walking, hiking, cycling and brining the dog for a stroll. It has some lovely lakes that one could admire, read a book by and relax. There are a couple of car parks with free parking. There is also a coffee shop available if you wan to pick up some hot drinks for the walk or for a picnic. There is one bench as far as I could see for the picnic area. All in all is great place to visit, especially for the local neighbours.
Absolutely love our local country park. The nicest part of Dagenham. Very well maintained, clean and family friendly. Free car park also or easily accessible through various public alleyways. The lakes are beautiful and can also extend the walk to Beam country park and the Chase nature reserve.
