   The food was presented really well and everything seemed fresh. The steak was tasty but a little heavy on the garlic seasoning, which overpowered the flavour at times. The homemade chips, however, were excellent. Unfortunately, the condiments didn’t feel like the best quality, which let the overall experience down a little. On the positive side, service from the young lady hosting was efficient, friendly, and attentive – she really made the visit pleasant. The restaurant itself feels a little tired, and there was a noticeable damp smell on entering, which detracted from the atmosphere. If the space and a few details like condiments were improved, it would go a long way to making this restaurant much better.

   Went here last night for our wedding anniversary and the food was absolutely amazing. Me and my husband loves burgers and steaks so perfect place for us. The service was great, polite waitress and food came really quick. It was quite in there but we personally prefer that. Will definitely be going back

   Went to kabels on a sat night . Have to say I was really surprised at the quality . Our waitress was a young girl - so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely , we had a double take platter . The steak and lamb cutlets were exceptional. Everything was beautifully seasoned/flavoured (including the chips) . We ordered onion rings on the side , Might be the nicest I've ever had - they were so flavoursome. Would recommend.

   Reserved a table for 18.30 on Saturday night. Was seated immediately sat looked through the menu decided what to order. To be then told that what I wanted wasn't available. Continued to read the menu and server returned to then inform us basically half of the menu wasn't available. I understand this happens but we should of been told upon arrival. Only writing this review because the restaurant listed us as a no show through the booking company, which is totally wrong. I'm guessing Saturday nights are the busiest of the week. So it's poor planning if half of your menu is sold out by 6pm, 30 minutes after you open. Do not then push the blame onto the disappointed customer. All round bad experience. I'm sure the foods lovely if they have any in.

   Had to pay £5 deposit per person for a table of 5 for a Friday night arrived and there was only another table in there the whole night They didn't have any sirlon steak which was the cheapest steak to have. So had a 'going solo' as it was the next best option for the price, which was Steak, chicken, lamb and 3 chicken wings chips and coleslaw and salad. Chips were perfectly seasoned and a change to normal steak chips. Would of liked some onion rings to be added. I had a pint of coke and they said that they don't do pints it would be two cans which cost £5.00 for two cans of pop! The young girl working was lovely and very chatty.

   No words to describe how tasty and wonderful this food was, don't let the prices scare you, the portions are huge with a very unique taste. Menu has something for everyone from fried shrimp to Stakes and nuggets for kids. It's well worth to pay the little extra for this kind of experience! Will definitely visit again!
