   Ordered a Donner kebab and the pitta bread was mouldy and staff didn’t care, absolutely vile also there was hairs in my chips! Avoid this chippy

   Take no notice of the highlight photos because they don't represent what you get in the slightest. Battered chips are all that we're offered at the time of ordering. Not bad, but not the best either. Very heavy and stodgy. I like battered chips when done right to be crispy but not too greasy. These were on the greasy side. Fish was cooked fresh to order, which was a plus. Ordered the shish, chicken tikka and donner in naan. I expected proper chicken tikka pieces, but it was just spit kebab. The shish was warmed up. No way on earth was it cooked fresh, far too dry. The chicken "tikka" was just cooked. Personally, I would have preferred it to be cooked longer, but it is what it is. The donner was bang average. Nothing special. Had better elsewhere. Decent value, get loads for your money, but I prefer quality over quantity. Wouldn't consider a revisit.

   I’m not in the habit of talking bull on these reviews. I had a bad experience at this chippy two years ago. Tonight I gave it another chance. WOW !!! What an improvement. Best chips I’ve tried in ages, battered and crispy and hot. Fish was huge, crispy and warm, and this chippy is a lot cheaper than some competitors. I don’t know if they have new management, or a new fryer, but I’ll be back.
