   Pre booked a table here for food drinks prior to going to watch the darts at Aldersley. What a little gem of a place. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us accommodate two last minute additions to our group. The prices were extremely reasonable (even moreso when compared to what we were paying in Aldersley!). The food arrived fresh, piping hot, and extremely tasty. I won't lie, we're not the biggest fans of pub good, but this was great. The whole place had a really friendly relaxed atmosphere.

   Went here before watching the darts, and the place was full. The food was really lovely, but a little misleading on the price of the choices on the menu. It was a good find and if local, a great pub to go to on a regular basis.

   We visited here on a quiet weeknight and found the service to be extremely slow. We waited a while for food and when it was bought found the chicken to be undercooked and the chips and potatoes to have been cold and felt like they had been sitting there a while. I would definately be reluctant to visit again, even with the generally positive reviews that others have posted.

   The Pilot public house was very very busy Busier than normal due to a main Darts competition being held 10 minutes walk away, The Steward of the pub was fully aware of this event However there were no where near enough staff available to cope I was starving of Hunger and wanted to order food To which I was told that no food was available at the present time as they were to busy, The staff that they did have were friendly and pleasant However poor planning and staffing numbers far to low, I spoke with a local. Person who said this happens everytime the Darts competition is on And they never learn the lessen to add more staff Poor desicions being made.
