   Christmas work meal, service extremely slow. They took 2 hours before they gave the starters. As some people did not have starters, they waited 2 and a half hours for their main. Those that had tge Christmas meal did not like it at all, frozen food. We had similar service last year with office party meal but gave them the benefit of doubt and booked again this year. No improvement and worse than last year so we will not be booking here again as they cannot cater for groups. Not sure what was the delay for as we had all pre booked with our food and booked the time we were attending. Sorry to say you failed with your service.

   The best person in this pub, the the glue that has held this place this together from dot one. She is an absolute legend and she should get at least two (real gold) watches! Sharon is the best. Anyways. This woman. Is amazing.x. my favourite chef and pub person in the planet!

   This is a lovely pub for food, my Daughter and myself went in for a meal . The service was great and staff were welcoming , prices were great too. There was a lot of choice on the menu and reasonably priced. We both had a steak meal , the steak didn't have a lot of flavour even with the sauce we had for it ,it could have done with some seasoning while cooking . Everything else was great

   Caught up with some old work colleagues that I hadn't seen for a number of years. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back to try some of the other delights off the menu . Was also asked if I had any food intolerances which I have never been asked before, so top marks for that

   Really nice fish and chips and they do great portions. Can be a bit noisy when busy (what pub isn't?) and table service was a little slow when ordering through the app, but nothing drastic.
