Love this place, very friendly atmosphere, staff willing to please, not to mention the gift shop which has an excellent choice of cards and gifts. Had an afternoon tea here when my Daughter and Granddaughter visited from New York, the sandwiches, prosseco and cakes were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Followed by a spending spree in the gift shop. My go to place.

Today we did the Winter Short Tour at Halfpenny Green which was absolutely fantastic. We were very fortunate to have Helen as our hostess, accompanied by Ciaren, who knowledgeably guided us through four delicious wines and one sparkling plus a tour of one of the 1987 vines. Helen was able to answer all of our questions and it is clear she is incredibly passionate about the work Halfpenny do. If that wasn’t enough, they also included a charcuterie board with lovely produce from the deli downstairs. The Winter Tour is exceptional value for money and would highly recommend if you are looking to visit the estate this season.

We had a nice Sunday lunch, the service was good and fairly prompt even though the restaurant was quite busy. The wine is great and a credit to the vineyard. The craft shops at the site were good to look around. We didnt watch the "Wild"bird show but others said it was great. Plenty of parking and easily accessible.

Camping and dining and tasting! Tasting - great wine and the cheese/meat board was top notch! Highly recommend this on the balcony over looking the vineyard on a sunny day. Camping - a field next to the fisheries. They have everything you need and it's quite level. Elsan point/fresh water is near the main building not near where you camp (I think they have recently changed the camping location) the water fill point is a bit of a pain, we had to move twice while filling up because it's on a through road. No tools to open the elsan so take a flat head screwdriver. Dining -this was a mixed bag. The roasts looked nice. I ordered the sea bass with roast potatoes. This was a mistake. The fish was pretty tasteless and the potatoes used for the roast were far too sweet. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals and desserts so maybe just avoid the sea bass. All in all, a good little stop with friendly staff.

We enjoyed English breakfast here, and the experience was unforgettable. Sitting among the vineyards, with the soft morning sun warming the air, made every bite even more enjoyable. The plate was a classic done right – perfectly cooked eggs, crisp bacon, savory sausages, golden hash browns, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, all accompanied by warm toast and rich, flavourful coffee. Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and made with care. What made the morning even more special was the service. The staff were not only attentive to us but incredibly kind and welcoming to our 2-year-old son. They made sure he felt just as much a guest as we did, which made our visit feel warm and personal. The setting is breathtaking — rows of grapevines stretching into the distance, birdsong in the background, and a peaceful stillness that makes you slow down and savor the moment. If you love a hearty English breakfast and want to enjoy it somewhere truly special, this vineyard spot is pure perfection.

Had a gin tasting experience brought for us. We had heard great things that’s why we had been brought it, to say we were so disappointed booked in at 3pm only received 2 gins by 5. Then the last 2 gins were given to us together then felt very rushed out at the end as closed at 5. I wouldn’t waste your money for £29 each definitely not worth it.

First visit since my 1 star review 9 months ago. Had breakfast again after reviewing the menu before hand. This time for 8.95 there was 2 sausage and black pudding. However still no tomato, three small mushrooms and one hash brown. Toast was an extra pound and was poor supermarket quality thin bread and one slice. We also had the porridge with berries and honey that had some strawberries on the top and no honey. It was better, but for ten pounds a breakfast there are by far still better offerings for quality and quantity elsewhere but acceptable in comparison to before in February.

The lady who did our wine tasting was really lovely. She gave a great description of the wines. The wines was really good, amazing quality as well as the cheese. Would recommend the experience. The cafe that's in Halfpenny Green is really relaxing, had a slice of cake and a cuppa lovely touch! Ps. If you go in the shop would recommend trying the little chocolates!
