Never disappoints. Fantastic food, staff and service. Its the best curry house we have experienced for 30 plus years.
A group of us ate dinner here in the week. There is a lot to choose from off the menu as well as specials and recommendations from the chef & staff. It's a very quirky restaurant set of the road so it's easy to miss especially at night. Id recommend booking so that you get a nice table.

Our first visit to The King’s Repose was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the wonderful entrance set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. The hospitality was fantastic, with the restaurant host, Monsur, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with authentic flavours. The lamb biryani was perfectly spiced, the creamy chicken korma was rich and indulgent, and the prawns were succulent and cooked to perfection. Each bite was better than the last! Monsur’s attentive and accommodating service truly made our first experience extra special. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend The King’s Repose to anyone looking for a top-notch Indian dining experience!
Absolutely beautiful food value for money a beautiful place to have a cosy meal I highly recommend
Food was excellent as service was but because it was busy we had to vacate our table in less than 2 hour's plus the staff was hanging around waiting to take plates and then told us to go downstairs to pay so they could set the table again.
Been a customer for 20 years or more. Great setting, great food, friendly staff. Service times can be slow on occasion, but nothing to get upset about
