Excellent food and service, we went at 6pm on a Saturday evening and it was pretty quiet. Would definitely go again
Shocking service, waited 3 hours and still no food arrived after being told twice that it was on the way. Ordered through uber eats and was told the restaurants own driver would be bringing the order as there wasn’t a driver available. On the third call after speaking with the manager his words were: im sorry, someone has lied to you, your order hasn’t been put through to the kitchen. Despite him saying he would send food in 30mins and do a refund, still no food and no refund. Now their phone doesn’t ring and have been unable to get through to anyone in the last 15minutes. Last time i order from here
Awful service. Waiting two and a half hours while being lied to with “two minutes” over and over again. The waiter had a bad attitude and was mouthy instead of helpful. Complete waste of time.
We ate here on New Year’s Eve after booking a table for 7:00pm for 14 people. From the moment we sat down, things went downhill. It took over 30 minutes just to be given menus. After ordering, we waited over two hours with no food arriving. When we asked where our food was, we were repeatedly told “2–3 minutes”, over and over again, with nothing appearing. During this time, the restaurant continued to pack more and more people in, clearly over capacity. At our table were four hungry children and one diabetic guest who needed food. We explained this multiple times, yet nothing was done and no urgency was shown. After 2.5 hours, instead of a solution, we were approached by a teenage staff member who was rude, argumentative, and spoke over us when we tried to explain the situation. At that point, we had no choice but to leave. This meant walking out at around 10:00pm on New Year’s Eve, desperately trying to find food for our children. Absolutely unacceptable service, poor management, and a complete lack of care for customers’ wellbeing. What should have been a celebratory evening turned into stress and frustration. We will not be returning.
A group of us ate here, the food was nice. There's a varied menu with a lot to choose from. You can take your own alcohol which makes it a cheap night out.
Terrible delivery!! I chose delivery when ordering and website said 60mins. 1hr and 20mins later no food. Ring up to be told another 20mins. Ended up going to collect the food which still wasn't ready for a further 5mins!
Possibly the worst meal I have had. Waitress run off her feet so waited over an hour and a half for food which came out cold. She asked for help multiple times off the manager where he came and set one table for her. No apology given for poor standard off food.
ordered and called when it was 3/4 hr after alleged delivery time, to fing out theyd forgotten order, so cancelled. Ordered again, 2 hrs 15 mins still no food, called woman said, "what do you want me to do about it", left phone open but said nothing else. Delivery arrived, 2 chips missing and meals cold £56.83 wasted.
Every time I go here, they're "preparing food" for two hours. NEVER have they delivered in 60 minutes as they claim. No genuine live updates on your order. Food is good if it's hot when it arrives, but expect just warm. Edit: Just found out, "Baburchi" is Indian for "Never delivers on time" Edit 2: it's now 110 minutes after I placed my order, and they've marked it as delivered when it is not, and I'm sat in the Jan 1st cold outside and waiting... I'd strongly advise never going here This isn't the first time they've done this
