took 1 hour and 20 minutes to arrive when it arrived i was missing my desert which the driver then had to give me his free drinks. when trying to complain about this they where very rude on the phone trying to get my off the phone. not good service do not order from here
Papa John’s really dropped the ball on this one. I waited an hour and a half for my order to show up, and when it finally arrived, it was absolutely freezing cold—like it had been sitting in the Arctic before delivery. Cold pizza, Totally unacceptable. When I order food, I expect it to be hot and fresh, not something I could’ve just pulled out of my fridge. Waiting that long just to be disappointed is beyond frustrating. If this is what they call “better ingredients, better pizza,” then I must’ve gotten the discount version. Papa John’s, do better. Because this was a straight-up waste of my money and my time
The Delivery time was appalling, me and my partner waited an hour for the food to be delivered cold. When I called the store and asked for a refund, the manager said I would have to wait 40 minutes for a re-make. I said no as that would be a 2 hour wait, he was really rude and said a refund would not be possible. I never complain about food places and i’m not too bothered about taste but this was disgusting. I’d never order from here again.
Really nice lads that work there, but it’s very hit and miss as to what your pizza will be like. Sometimes amazing pizzas which are perfectly made and sometimes awful pizzas with missing toppings that you’ve paid extra for and extremely stingy on the toppings and cheese. I guess it depends on who is making your pizza. The lack of consistency is annoying, especially when you’re spending a lot of money. I still prefer Papa Johns pizzas over Domino’s pizzas even though Domino’s seems to be far more organised, efficient, reliable (delivery wise) and consistent.
Apparently new owners and I will give anyone a chance but hour and a half wait and still waiting lovely telephone manner but really do not understand the problem if they can’t deliver admit and I’ll start cooking
Attempted to ordered papa johns from the Mutley branch after they re-opened, and nearly 1hour later, we called to chase our order, advised it’s ready but sat waiting for driver. 30 mins later, call back up, still waiting for drives. Advised man on the phone we would like the pizzas re-made, after they’ve been sat there all that time. Another half an hour later, called back up, new pizzas are ready but still waiting for driver. Ended with a refund and dominos instead. Really poor experience. Gent on the phone was nice enough and apologetic.
Didn’t received the pizzas we ordered. No help from the restaurant! Food came stone cold. Avoid!
our last three orders have been cold and tasteless, just so disappointed with Papa Johns because they were good. I'm uping this because we tried papa johns again tonight 28/10/21 and our order toke nearly 2 hours to arrive but it came very nice. The tracker was on the first stage for over an hour which did make me worry but after an hour and ten minutes things started to move on and just coming up to 2 hours of waiting we got our order and it was nice and was at a acceptable temperature. Ending this, i would rather wait 2 hours for a warm/hot order then wait for 2 hours for a cold tasteless one.
